Pay is a young man of the big city. In the whole beginning, a🧌monster named "Hewon" battled Pay. Hewon is the type of villain to be surrounded by many males known for cowardly/paranoid motives. Hewon says, "I never lose." When Pay encountered him and his gang, "The Bow Town Boys" for the first time. They attempted to bully him. Hewon says, "Oooh...Die!". Yet Pay's response was to run far away from them as quickly as he can. He found an escape towards a nearby girlfriend's sanctum. Therefore Hewon was defeated. As years passed by, Pay made decisions in his life for Change. Earlier in life, Pay decided to stop doing music before getting bullied. He now says, "Every day is a new day. A magical woman shall appear from God." In meaning, woman are his only weakness. There's no stopping him now. His strength is Music. Sacrificing it made no sense to him earlier on in life. ("Never again," he says). Now he vows that he will never love again, unless Hewon is prevented from destroying Sound. Pay's enemy loves to annoy him. Music kept Pay safe in life as he aged. He later on met up with DJ Fiona Twist and "The Alter Egos", her former crew. With new technology, he and DJ Fiona Twist joined forces and developed: the sound lock, sound bomb, etc. These were some utilities needed to help stop the enemy. One day Hewon found a way to get to Pay, & attemped to capture and kill him with annoyance. Pay escaped from him again. Other than that, Big things will happen. Pay and his guardian DJ Fiona Twist, will always run far away in sound from Hewon; knowing and feeling nothing.

An underdog from the underground, Buffalo-bred rapper Westside Gunn brings the sounds of '90s hardcore rap into the 21st century alongside his brother and fellow emcee Conway. With their tales of street life, drugs, and gun violence, the pair have employed sample-heavy production in the gritty East Coast tradition of the Lox, Mobb Deep, Capone-N-Noreaga, and the Wu-Tang Clan. In addition to his work with Conway and their Griselda labelmates, Westside Gunn branched out on his own with a series of Hitler Wears Hermes mixtapes issued in the 2010s, as well as solo albums such as Flygod (2016), Supreme Blientele (2018), and Pray for Paris (2020), the latter of which cracked the upper half of the Billboard 200. The lengthy, guest-heavy full-length And Then You Pray for Me appeared in 2023 and reached the Top 30 of the same chart. The EP 11 and a mixtape, Still Praying, were released almost simultaneously in 2024.

Born Alvin Lamar Worthy in Buffalo, New York, Westside Gunn started rapping at a young age. In high school, he joined with Conway (born Demond Price) and fellow rappers Benny the Butcher and Machine Gun Black as the Forerunners. They stuck together over the years and in the early 2010s, they founded Griselda Records. In addition to output as Westside Gunn & Conway, Worthy began issuing his own mixtapes, including the Hitler Wears Hermes series, which kicked off in 2012. With his strong, steady rhymes and often laid-back production, he released five installments of the Hermes series into 2017. 

His debut studio full-length, Flygod, arrived in 2016 and featured appearances by Benny, Conway, Roc Marciano, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, and more, as well as production by Statik Selektah and the Alchemist. In 2017, Griselda inked a deal with Eminem's Shady Records, which graduated Westside Gunn to the majors. That same year, he hopped onto a collaboration with MF Doom titled WestsideDoom, and a year later he issued his sophomore LP, Supreme Blientele, which featured many familiar faces from Flygod, as well as new guests Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Anderson .Paak, and producers Pete Rock and 9th Wonder. 

After Griselda hit the Top Ten of Billboard's R&B/hip-hop and rap charts with WWCD, Westside issued the solo album Pray for Paris in April 2020. DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, the Alchemist, and Tyler, The Creator were among the contributors to the set, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 67 and the R&B/hip-hop chart at 39. A second Gunn album, Who Made the Sunshine, was initially set for release that August, but it was delayed following the death of longtime Griselda Records collaborator DJ Shay from COVID-19. The album eventually appeared in October 2020 and featured appearances by Benny, Conway, Slick Rick, Black Thought, and others. Two tracks, "Julia Lang" and "TV Boy," arrived in March 2021 as the first songs released off Gunn's mixtape Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Sincerely, Adolf. Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Side B followed. The mixtapes Peace "Fly" God and 10 (the final installment in the Hitler Wears Hermes series) appeared in 2022. The studio album And Then You Pray for Me arrived in 2023, boasting guests like Rick Ross, DJ Drama, Denzel Curry, and Boldy James. It reached number 29 on the Billboard 200. Emerging from the elite Bay Area music scene in California, Hip Hop/Neo Soul recording artist Fatimah Patrice began hitting the ground running in the music realm in 2013, and since that time has manifested into a versatile & multifaceted artist with her own signature sound & stylistic vibes.

Fatimah's debut single “Heartz In Autumn” was released in 2013, this single continues to be a fan favorite to date. In 2014, she dropped her highly anticipated second single “Black Bitch”. In 2016, she released her 3rd single “Nostalgic Infatuation”.

On November 11th in 2017, Fatimah’s debut Self-Titled album “Fatimah Patrice” was released and is one of her most successful efforts to date. A music video for her anchor single “RESIST” from the album dropped in March 2018. Then Fatimah Patrice later emerged back on the music scene with singles "ELEKTRA (POSE)" and "AMIRRORKAH" in Summer/Fall  2021.

Since gracing the stage, Fatimah has had the opportunity to perform at a vast array of prominent venues and events including SXSW in Austin, TX , First Friday's in Oakland, CA, The People's Party in San Francisco, CA and numerous shows throughout the country. 

Currently, Fatimah has been working on recording and releasing new music/music videos, collaborating with new artists, touring, as well as entrepreneurship and philanthropy for her 2024 plans & beyond. She’s been a vital female voice for Hip Hop and continues to push forward in her musical legacy.

In Toronto, Canada, there are three public housing communities that exist together on the south-east end of Scarborough; Firvalley Court, Cataraqui Crescent and Leyton Avenue.  These three communities have been labeled "Block 13" by the TCHC (Toronto Community Housing Corporation). Musical artists in the neighborhood turned the negative branding into a positive symbol.

Going through rough times and sharing experiences as a community brought different elements of Block 13 together. But it's through music where Block 13 has had their greatest impact. From humble beginnings performing at local venues around Toronto, to collaborating with artists from around the globe, Block 13 has shown the world they have what it takes to perform alongside the hottest artists of today.

Drawing inspiration from hip-hop, R&B and dancehall artists, Block 13 has been able to establish their own unique musical style while showcasing their talent to an international audience.
