Celebrating the golden ears of House Music A&R Supreme - Gladys Pizarro - this set featured 12" classic bangers from the likes of DJ Pierre, Roger Sanchez, Barbara Tucker, Roy Davis Jr., DJ Sneak, Little Louie Vega, Cevin Fisher, Satoshi Tomiie, Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez, Erick Morillo, Armand Van Helden, Jerel Black, Kevin Aviance, Josh Wink and More! 

At the time, gorgeous CD packages had been printed with a custom, 4-color booklet (photos by Bart Everly)and were literally about to ship into stores. They never made it. We grabbed a few - the rest were unfortunately tossed.

We recompiled TURNTABLE CLASSICS: STRICTLY RHYTHM here for DJ peeps and our archives. The 16-song set of dance floor staples includes some of our absolute favorite 12” Strictly Rhythm classics. 
There's a also a great continuous mix. Just push play and letterrip! 

Totally inspired by many many mornings dancing and hollering to Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia throughout the ’90’s in a vibrant NYC. 

TURNTABLE CLASSICS: STRICTLY RHYTHM Original artwork, full credits, industry quotes, 12” catalogue #’s and liner notes (by Kurt B Reighley) were all part of the package. Everything had been remastered too.

PREMIERE: NOAM — Backyard Adventures (Original Mix) [Ready Mix Records]

NOAM [pronounced No-Ahm] delivers three original, deep, organic House cuts for Ready Mix Records (#264) with his latest, Conversations EP.

As one half of NYC duo UpAllNight with John Creamer (Francis Mercier, Sia, Eyedyllic); NOAM (*aka Noam Rubinstein) steps up front for this striking solo debut release.

Conversations' opening track, 'Shumanchi' is a melodic, deftly filtered synth-based offering that balances a tension and release fervor within its grooves.

'Backyard Adventures' is subtle, yet captivating. NOAM manages to provide an engaging, spine- tingling syncopation that works a distinct, mysterious magic.

Closing the EP is 'Conversations with Tiffany' which introduces a slight touch of drama, with its moody minor chords and dizzying atmospherics perched behind potent synths.

NOAM's production, writing and mix talents are on full display on this long-awaited Conversations EP.

Peace Bisquit did Remix A&R on this and "Edge Of 17" back in 2007. The "Edge" mixes with Linus Loves were never released but Morgan Page's version of "Stand Back" was commercially released and remains a fave from our catalogue. 
Over the last few years - we've dipped in the bag and revisited the original stems to create a few exclusive DJ tools with various clients and colleagues
