13 Rabbit is a sonic offering rooted in ancient cycles and imagined futures — where ceremonial rhythm meets electronic texture, and memory becomes movement.

Composed by Xica Sonica (Iris Rodriguez & Ce Acatl Borsegui), this album carries the energy of transformation, resilience, and rebirth. Inspired by the Mesoamerican calendar and the symbol of the rabbit — a carrier of lunar time — these tracks blend percussion, ambient atmospheres, cumbia, and pulse-driven ritual into a sound that is speaking from memory, dreaming forward.

This is not ambient music for rest. It is Indigenous futurism in sound — kinetic, cinematic, and encoded with motion.

Quick-step rhythm built for wake-up, response, and recalibration. Moves fast. Stays grounded.

“‘Manchester’ is dedicated to Marcus Intalex, who passed away one year ago today. I met Marcus sometime around 1998 and our musical lives have been intertwined ever since. He put out my very first record in 2005, and I put out his first music as Trevino on 3024. We always stayed in touch, but life, touring, and generally being busy made it harder and harder to spend quality time together. After his passing, I once again realized the importance of putting more effort into friendships and not let the people you love turn into ’Facebook contacts’. That's what this song is about for me. As much as this track is made in memory of Marcus, it is also dedicated to the city of Manchester, a place I very much enjoy being, with a music scene that is thriving and supportive of each other in hard times. On 2018’s ‘Voids’, long-time Berghain / Panorama Bar resident Martyn [@3024world] returned to his deep, percussive roots, nimbly constructing complex webs of rhythm, melody and inventive basslines centered around a near-death experience. Since then, the Dutch producer has been set on a different musical path focusing on spatial and emotional depth in listening and production. 

‘Odds Against Us’ picks up where ‘Voids’ left off, pursuing a sampling spirit innovated by drum 'n' bass, but operating independent of BPM.
