After 20 years of experience playing/making music as well as running two well respected labels (Perspectiv Records and Tamed), Ripperton has asserted himself as one of the most established producers in the game. His alias, Headless Ghost, is a side project devoted 100% to hardware and full analogue recordings.

Despite it still being early days for the labels as its’ fifth and sixth release there is clearly no hesitation to release ambitious and conceptual music. This next release, '77,' is the second release of a three-part EP trilogy.

The opening track ‘11’ is a light and subdued number compared to the dark clattering metals and walking sub bass line of ‘22’. Final track, ‘44’, unfolds over a ten-minute marathon; it's wonderfully brash and energetic riff morphs through a series of synths and melodic guises.

‘77’ exhibits Ripperton’s effortless ability to drop a new line or rhythm without muddying the essence of the track. Each song ebbs and flows with a mosaic of intricate beats and synths while you wait for that sucker-punch hook to come back around and knock you out.

This exciting three-part project has been developed with the intention of being played out live with improvisations and visuals from Aiko.

Will Saul’s Aus Music label is now into its tenth year, and with that, fittingly enough, comes its landmark 100th release. For this special occasion, the ever evolving label has put together a comprehensive 24 track quadruple vinyl, triple CD and vast digital compilation, due for release 8th July 2016. 

We're bringing you an exclusive listen to the whole thing right now. Featuring the likes of Bicep, Midland, Huxley and Marquis Hawkes, it's a veritable who's who of top tier house talent.

Marcin Czubala is mobilee's EP releasing machine. Back on the grind with the ninth Extended Play to boot, this Polish beat maestro is in serious business with his new three-part release titled "Bad Boy Campbell".

The first self-titled track progresses from space odyssey-like sounds diving into a head-on leap into full-blown flickering baselines. Soulful vocals corresponded by electric buzzers weave gracefully in and out of the track making this piece a dance floor favorite. 

"Funktion" keeps the groove marching to a different beat of the drum, or shall we say, strings? As baselines and percussion take a ride in the backseat, the listener can almost visualize Czubala's conducting in a Fantasia of symphony strings flirting with various electronic elements. 

Finally, as its title implies, the last number is rich in "Layers." The multitude of quirky and abstract sound effects prancing around throughout the track are trippy enough to make the listener feel he is teleporting into a Mad Hatter electronic pin-ball game. 

Marcin Czubala currently resides in Poznan, Poland and is available for international gigs.
