Aretha Franklin - Rock Steady (Disco Tech Re-Krivit Edit)

El Mausoleum was born as an attempt to create a sleek, New York–style Latin house track — sophisticated, groove-driven, no lyrics, just pure rhythm. But when I finished, it sounded nothing like me. After a few winter colds, my rough, grassy voice crept in and gave the track an unexpected character, turning it into something more personal.
As I recorded, I imagined returning to my old city: staring out windows, seeing familiar streets, and realizing how many things I used to overlook simply because they were always there. That sense of memory and rediscovery shaped the song into what it is now — a blend of house groove and ghostly reflections, where the mausoleum becomes a living, breathing soundscape.

This is version 2 of my remix of Average White Band's funk hit Pick Up The Pieces. After listening to the previous version i made the over compression of the kick was cancelling out sounds after the mastering process. This version is way better, FREE download, enjoy !
