I came across this mash when making a "Throw It All In" Ableton mix. So i put the tracks into Ableton and let rip. It's a pure mash-up of three tracks and i literally used one sample of a crash symbol the rest is processing to get it sounding right.

A little while ago I gave away my nu disco version of Big City Life which is one of my favourite recent freebies. Before I did that mix, I'd put together this broken beat version that was the starting point for the nu disco mix. It's a bit more chilled & less dance floor than the nu disco version. I've played it a bunch of times & it works great but it's been sitting on my hard drive not doing anything. So I've given it a once over & now I'm sharing it with every one! ENJOY!

I recently made a mix for the label Spa In Disco (coming soon) and decided to go over or re-invent some of my more popular funk edits from a while ago to put into the mix. The old project files themselves were elementary at best and it's good to know that i have made developements over time to tighten and better my production skills. I'm not gonna lie, all my music is sample based and of late i have been making quick and easy edits of old funk/funky breaks tracks from ages ago. This is another one i made this morning from an obscure funk track from Via Libre, i really digged the bongos in this one and the left and right channels in the wav file had different instruments so it was good to get a seperate multi track of the guitar, organ and bongos. On top of the edited track i chucked a Beastie Boys acapella and a Aceyalone acapella which not only fit in key with the track but also with the lyrics in the track (which was cool). So here is another FREE Track. Enjoy x :)

Pecoe hails from Perth, Western Australia and his love for EDM started back in the very early 1990's attending various raves and club nights at that time. Pecoe runs the Breakzlinkz website too, since 2007 and an offshoot of that called Old Breaks Mixes. From the music production side of things pecoe mainly keeps it funky and debuted his first EP back in 2017 on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings.
