It's fair to say that Pecoe's release rate in 2022 has been off the scale and while I feel pretty confident in saying he's not released something every week of the year, he's released that much that I would have to go and check. Most of what he has released throughout the year has carried his signature funky breaks sound, but a couple of curve balls were thrown out in the form of two excellent disco-led EP's on Rare Wiri and Spa In Disco. Still laced with funk, the two four-track EPs added another string to his bow and showed that there is more to his production work than the well-crafted funky breaks jams we've become accustomed to. 

In keeping with the theme of those two EPs, we have another slice of nu-disco from Pecoe to bring you for day five of our advent calendar. In The 80's is an intense, deep and captivating groove that's easy to get lost in until the bassline kicks in to literally rock your world! It's a little something different from what we're used to from Pecoe, but that's how we like it and like it we do! Download for free on the player above.
