​The songwriting alias of itinerant humanist Andrew Pendleton, AP Mercury crafts ballads that transcend genre. These are songs built on the foundation of the 20th-century American songbook, utilizing vivid lyrics and distinct harmonies to explore life's essential currents.
​His work focuses on overlooked characters and the fleeting, often painful, nature of existence. The music spans alternative rock, indie folk, and alt-country, presenting narratives of loss, love, solitude, and grief. There is a powerful undercurrent that confronts humanity's waste of its own paradise, championing kindness and community against betrayal and modern excess.
​These are not commercialized tracks. They are raw, emotional, and authentic unmastered recordings, preserved to deliver stories that demand a deep listen. AP Mercury offers an honest look at the world, revealing both what is right and what is wrong—a voice that, once heard, will linger with the listener.
