"Exploring organic styles of Dub like few others, JahYu's very own Tripedal Crow Records ventures off into five uncharted sound system excursions. Expressing his Korean heritage through sound, the Hamburg-based artist and label operator has firmly embedded himself in the national and global Roots and Dub scene, including a notable affiliation with the fulminant Steppas Records. Now on the controls for the imprints subsequent release - the man himself with full force and spirit."

"Immersing yourself in the sonic jungle, 'Intimacy' unveils slow-motion drums, reverberating into a beautiful low-frequency foundation. Amidst the vibrant bass-line tribal drums keep the groove in full swing - livid skanks propelling the arrangement onwards as distorted overtones carry the weight. Dub-wise instrumentation flows in cohesive harmony, a common denominator of this profound release. The unstoppable Leeds-based powerhouse, Mungk comes through with the next release on Soil and Sound. This time on a heavy dub tip, Mungk delivers two huge instrumentals showing off the insane weight of contemporary Dub and the unbeatable sound that is Mungk!

A - Basic Dub
A wavy halftime skanker, this tune has an immense, dreamy space with colossal snare crashes and a low end fat enough to rattle and smash your windows, you've been warned.

B - Untitled Steppa
This groovy steppa track echoes the sounds outta Brixton in the 90s, kicks are punchy as and the bass down low, while horns blare out the tops above, you can almost hear the pullups already.

The next free download release comes courtesy of Panix, he has come through with a fresh 140 remix of the dancehall classic "going gets rough", featuring rolling basslines and crispy percussion this track really hits the Hold Tight Sound..... For the next installment on the Soil and Sound series, the heavyweight dub-crafter @b_say provides two crushingly heavy cuts in two different styles of dub music!

A - Labyrinth Dub
This dark and stomping 130 track fuses the minimal rhythmic characteristics of classic dubstep, but with the application of a slower, more menacing pace; B-Say is able to produce a feeling that invokes the feeling of being hit with a thousand bass-fuelled punches!

B - Unity Dub
Coming through with a thunderous sound here, B-Say switches up the style and crafts a deep dub-steppa style track with such a perfect set of grooves, through the use of organs and sounds of all things UK dub! This cut scratches that deep, meditative dub itch we all have within us! ;)

As per, this release will be a limited run of 30 copies, hand-cut by the dubplate master Henry Bainbridge at @Dubstudio, onto 10" transparent plates!

Preorders will open on our bandcamp on 02/10/20 @ 3PM BST

Expect shipping within 4-5 weeks of order.
