When life gives you lemons...  ...learn to juggle.

At least that's what we did in the summer of 2021, when the window of opportunity opened up for us to organize a small gathering after a year of the pandemic.

We are happy to share sounds from unique Mo:Dem Mutations events.

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 : from 9 to 15 August 2021 
Mo:Dem Mutations V.2 : from 16 to 22 August 2021

Mo:Dem Mutations V.1 & V.2 took place on the lower part of the Mo:Dem location, on the banks of the Mrežnica river. Mutations were featuring our usual musical program, with a slight alteration. As The Hive stage was closed, visitors were able to witness a unique, once-in-a-modemtime experience of The Hive music concept on The Swamp island. At the same time The Seed featured a blend of The Swamp and The Seed music.

Once again we wish to express our love and gratitude to the friends, family, artists and visitors that supported us during these weird and hard times. Next edition of Mo:Dem Festival is scheduled for 8 - 14 August 2022.

1.5 ours of high-flying, full-power psychedelic tracks exploring the 147 - 150 BPM range. 

Every so often an artist will release a full-length album of such perfection that I have to fight myself internally to not use every single track on the album in my DJ sets. 

Recently one of my all-time favourites - Radikal Moodz(Looney Moon Records) - has just released such an album. I managed to confine myself to only 4 tracks from their masterpiece album ‘Initial Dreamers’ to serve as the ‘peak’ of this month’s set.

The second honorable mention goes to a more recent discovery of mine from Blacklite Records, Gigi. Gigi has been around for a while but only appeared on my radar by the end of 2021. This set also includes the most recent EP by Gigi - Naughty Shanti - which is made up of 4 incredible collaborations.

June features releases from Protoned Music, Sangoma Records, Looney Moon Records, Sonitum Records, Blacklite records, and Future Music records. 

All tracks in the set were purchased on Bandcamp/Beatport and the artists supported.

This Sangoma episode features DAKSINAMURTI's Live Set 2022. Daksinamurti is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records. Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000. Upon discovering Goatrance on the beaches of India in the early 90’s, Daksinamurti developed a diverse and insatiable thirst for studying the effects of psychedelic music on the body and mind. Combined with his passion of anthropology, his journey in music has been distinguished by his desire to discover and the depths of psychoacoustic application in music. About this set, Daksi says: "This mix was meant to be a showcase for my album but ended up as a mix of my contemporary music, music from my just released album and some sneak peaks of what is coming in the near future. It contains some solo work and collaborations with Cosinus, Peyotes, Eritas, N3xu5, Killawatt, Yabba Dabba, Superluminal (Kabayun & Yasmin), Lemurians, Oksha, Yebah & Via Axis.

Nikita Tselovalnikov, the psytrance producer behind Penta, has been making music since 1988. Having played in more than thirty countries around the world, appearing repeatedly in every major festival such as Boom, Voov, Universo Paralello, Full Moon and Burning Man, Nikita has gained reputation as one of the pioneers and innovators in the psytrance world. Being identified with darkpsy, full-on and progressive genres at the same time, Penta’s unique futuristic sound has brought together people of different scenes into one swirling psychedelic dance. You will find Penta’s tracks on dozens of compilations as well as seven albums – “Pentafiles”, “Funraiser”, “Horn Please”, “Portuguese Abduction”, “Give MeFive!”, “All Shots Double”, and “Swirlscape”. Apart from being a producer, Nikita is the designer, webmaster and the owner of AuraQuake Music record label, as well as the creator of AuraQuake t-shirt line. He is also the man behind spontaneous projects, such as Boom Radio and Universo Paralello YouTube broadcasts. Since 2008, Nikita is performing his own progressive house music under the name Azorsky. 

Recently, Nikita has started a darker, faster psytrance project Ingraval with the debut album set to come out in Spring 2023.
