In anticipation of the further Pep Gaffe event, which will take place in Odessa on the 3rd of April, we are excited to present this recording of the live performance by Lacanianqab.

"In my noisy interventions, I seek meaning hidden from the language of interfaces and dynamic production. I am willing to become an inevitable antagonist for myself and the listener, creating asymmetry, a gap between what is expected and what is heard.

The possibility of total involvement in a sound object, which is neither the source of the sound nor the sound itself becomes exposed during the mutual exploration of time and space.

The focus is on the way objects sound, their sequence, the structure they show, shortening and prolonging time intervals. Objects begin to sound through their own echo, the duplication of contents, outside of conscious identification with the phenomenon, but having a renewed impact on perception."
