Inertia' is the audiovisual collaboration and virtual reality project between Ukrainian musician Voin Oruwu and French digital designer Simon Kounovsky (@axonbody).

Within the 20-minute VR experience, the artists narrate a five acts piece about human’s distorted and toxic relationship to earth and its resources and environment from an abstract and dystopia point of view. In each of the five acts, symbols and metaphors for contemporary ecological problems are being touched, eventually leading the viewer on an interactive trip into their own consciousness.

The project reflects back to Voin Oruwu's view of a future world and post-human dystopia leading to the crucial necessity for everyone taking action in environmental matters.

This was a release of ours from about 20 years ago when i was making tracks with Steve Harris under the name of CLOAKS. Put out as a small run white label by WERKDISCS it sold out very quickly. Me and steve have the only copies i know of.
The original track, 'CUSS VERSION' is by LLOYD ROBERTSON and was released in 1984. This was his version of his own track 'CUSS CUSS' which came out in 1969.

A side:   Cloaks-CUSS. This is a cloaks reworking of the awesome original.
AA side: Cloaks-CUSS VERSION- A stripped down, pounding, steppas sound system track.
Both tracks mastered at TRANSITION-huge.

The wicked intensity of Toronto's E-Saggila takes on novel limits for her new album for Northern Electronics. Constructed out of her live works, there's a lack of restraint on 'My World My Way' that could only be forged in the moment.

Following on from last year's album for BANK Records NYC, E-Saggila has put together something that addresses the club and the headphones in equal measure. Taking the approach of a documentarian of our virtual landscape, there's a deep motive that underpins the heavy digital signal processing. With plenty of storming mechanical rhythms that embark from gabber's chaotic neighborhood, the samples of voices, conversations, and phone calls, all wind the listener around the desperation that's embedded in the digital world's seamless mediation of our lives. Owing as much to power violence and industrial as to Rotterdam, E-Saggila's affinity for the extremes is as conceptually critical as it is stylistically present. Riding the BPMs high, and binding this all together with ambient music's sensibilities, 'My World My Way' moves in sharp strides between a political statement and a dancefloor assault.
