Dr Groove Dj, nombre artístico de Edwin Bustos, es un productor y DJ originario de Armenia, Quindío (Colombia). Con más de una década de experiencia en la escena electrónica, se ha consolidado como una de las figuras más destacadas del house y progressive house en el Eje Cafetero colombiano.

Desde muy joven, Dr Groove Dj encontró en la música electrónica un canal de expresión y evolución artística. Su sonido combina la calidez del deep house, la energía del tech house y la sofisticación del progressive, logrando un estilo personal y reconocible que conecta con públicos exigentes y amantes de la música de calidad.

Ha compartido cabina con reconocidos artistas nacionales e internacionales, como Bruno Balbino y Joy Kitikonti, y ha sido parte de la programación en clubes y eventos clave del circuito electrónico colombiano.

Como productor, ha lanzado música en sellos como VectoRecords 2.0 y Unseen Records Colombia, con tracks como Run (Remixes), Jey, My Son, Digge y The Real. Su catálogo musical también está disponible en plataformas como Beatport, Spotify y SoundCloud, donde sigue creciendo con propuestas frescas y contundentes.

La propuesta artística de Dr Groove Dj se caracteriza por la fusión de técnica depurada, sensibilidad sonora y una visión clara de la pista de baile. Erothyme was born on planet Earth and has been making the jams since, like, forever, man! His sound is a majestic blend of overblown hyperbole and meaningless adjectives that actually have nothing to do with music. His tracks land in your ear like a dolphin gracefully diving into the surface of the ocean after doing a triple backflip in front of the setting sun. Erothyme founded the Perpetual Victory Machine at the beginning of time because he knew it was good to be on the winning team. Some people think that Erothyme doesn't be like he is, but he do.

Biography / Biografia

Diva Drugs were founded in the winter of 2009 from the encounter between Teresa Laquintana, Benito Solomita, Gianluca Teasto and Antonio Cicoria. After collaborating in various similar projects the four musicians intersected the desire to be able to test their potential by creating a new and personal sound thus obtaining innovative compositions in the alternative rock field. In May 2010 the first songs were written to take part in the EP "Charlie on the Moon" (recorded at the Caos studios between October-November 2010, released the same year on December and containing three tracks: Kein Engel Weiss, Amnesia and the title track). At the beginning of the summer of 2011 the band changed lineup: now we have Cristina Zerulo on bass, Antonio Totaro on guitar and Cris Neemaw on drums supported by the original members Benito and Teresa. At the moment the band is working on new songs that will be included in the next album, wich will be released in 2012, improving their own style to make it even more sophisticated and innovative leaving, anyway, free space to new experiences and sensations to transmit with pleasure to the listener.



I Diva Drugs vennero fondati nell'inverno del 2009 grazie all'incontro fra Teresa Laquintana, Benito Solomita, Gianluca Teasto e Antonio Cicoria. Dopo aver collaborato in numerosi progetti affini, i quattro musicisti intersecarono il loro desiderio di testare il proprio potenziale creando un suono fresco e personale con lo scopo di ottenere composizioni innovative nel campo del rock alternativo. Nel Maggio del 2010 furono scritte le prime canzoni che successivamente avrebbero fatto parte dell'EP "Charlie on the moon" (registrato presso i Caos Studios tra Ottobre-Novembre del 2010, rilasciato a Dicembre dello stesso anno e contenente tre tracce: Kein Engel Weiss, Amnesia e la traccia che da il titolo al disco). Ai principi dell'estate del 2011 la band cambiò lineup: ora abbiamo Cristina Zerulo al basso, Antonio Totaro alle chitarre e Cris Neemaw alla batteria supportati dai membri originali Benito e Teresa. Al momento la band sta lavorando ai nuovi brani da includere nel prossimo album, che verrà realizzato nel 2012, incrementando il proprio stile per renderlo ancor più sofisticato ed innovativo lasciando spazio, comunque, a nuove esperienze e sensazioni da trasmettere con piacere all'ascoltatore.
