Radio Olisipo is an online radio station based in Lisbon. It promotes ethnomusicological research, independent music, follows the release of the records of musicians based mainly in Lisbon and opens their playlist to DJs from around the world.

Paolo Fuschi was born in Sicily, Italy where he lived until the age of 22. During these years Paolo developed a strong passion for Blues guitar and he performed with several artists in the music scene of Palermo, his home city.
 
In 2002 Paolo moved to Manchester to study Popular Music and Recording at Salford University, where he graduated in 2006. In the meantime Paolo experienced the variety of Manchester music scene by playing at jam sessions around the city and discovered and absorbed many musical genres such as Funk, Soul, Jazz and Reggae. This intense musical journey led him to develop his guitar skills towards those genres and, as well, Paolo started to experiment his singer-songwriter skills.
 
In 2007 Paolo formed his first musical project as blues guitarist and singer-songwriter called Fuschi4. With this band Paolo performed at the most prestigious Blues Festivals in U.K. such as The Great British Rhythm And Blues Festival, Maryport Blues Festival and Hebden Bridge Blues Festival. Fuschi4 also performed in very renowned music venues such as Band On The Wall in Manchester and The Flower Pot in Derby (in this particular occasion as supporting act to Dr Feelgood). In March 2012, Fuschi4 have released their first album ‘Can’t Hold Out’ which was featured in several regional radio stations such as BBC Radio Lancashire, Preston FM and Phoenix FM. Fuschi4 performed their last concert in September 2013.
 
As well as working with Fuschi4, Paolo constantly collaborates with other artists. He has recorded and toured with Singer-Songwriter Sam Gray with whom Paolo performed at prestigious venues such as Manchester Apollo and London O2 Arena. Paolo has also recorded and performed for Trio Valore featuring the drummer Steve White (Paul Weller, Style Council, Oasis, The Who), bassist Damon Minchella (Paul Weller, Ocean Color Scene) and Justin Shearn (Beggar Joe, Sam Gray, Buffalo Brothers).
 
In February 2014 Paolo released his first album 'Skint & Golden' in Italy co-written with Fabrizio Cammarata, The album has playlisted throughout Europe.
 
Paolo's latest musical venture include the Buffalo Brothers, a 9 piece funk band. Buffalo Brothers whose first single Dark Matter has been spinned on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 6 by Craig Charles several times. The band has also performed in very prestigious festivals such as Kendal Calling and Manchester Jazz Festival as well as some of the most important music venues in the country such as Band On The Wall in Manchester and The Blues Kitchen in London.
Buffalo Brothers first album “Fresh From The Horn” will be released on 30th October 2015.
 
Paolo is also collaborating with Ace Harmonica player Mat Walklate. Their music has been on air in countries as the U.K., Germany, Spain, Canada and the U.S.A.. The duo is currently touring the country and writing a new album that will be recorded in November 2015.

Eine der 040 x 040 Sessions war u.a. mit DJ MAD und anderen bei GROOVE CITY (bester Plattenladen in Hamburg)
Es wurde über Musik gesprochen und Musik wurde auch gehört.
Entstanden ist daraus die kommende und regelmäßige Veranstaltung "EINE KISTE PLATTEN UND EINE KISTE BIER mit Dir" - Es geht natürlich um Freibier äh Musik: DJ MAD & Gäste sprechen über diverse unterschiedliche Musik-Genre ! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RECORDDEALER
