Alyra Rose is a Northern California off-grid based, multidimensional Poet, Lyricist, Yoga Teacher, Body-Worker, and Alchemical Songstress devoted to the transformation of humanity through embodied soulful awakening. Where moonchild meets the blues and sings butterflies from the mouth of pain is where Alyra Rose's songs are born again. She syphons songs from the bones of the earth and from the ancient soil of the human story; from grief to glory and everything in between to create triumphant etheral soundscapes to rewire our hearts and minds for an alchemical, trancendental experience of soul rememberance. Alyra blends elements of folk, electronic, hip hop, pop and soul, fusing genres like she clashes outfits. 


Over the years she has played with a variety of people and some bands including Pamela Parker, The Voodoo Medicine Show, Siren’s of Soul, and Mirror Pool. She has a full length album out and another album on the way that she is producing herself. Her live performances vary from full bands to her and her loop pedal, electric guitar and myriad of beat machines singing with various guests or just her and her guitar.


Alyra's journey with music has been inextricably linked with her own healing and her journey of studying the healing arts. Music has always been apart of her life, coming from a musical family she didn’t realize the healing power of music and creativity until she had to sing and write herself out of a very dark space. It wasn’t overnight, but it was overtime that she used the creative process to witness and observe her own thought processes. She now teaches Alchemy of Song workshops and retreats with other like-minded souls to help others heal through the creative process. She has studied massage, Ayurveda and Yoga. She plans to keep weaving these healing modalities together through workshops and shows that beckon to the return of the soul.

Named after the constellation Alpha Lyra, Alyra Rose is herself a constellation of creation. When she is not crafting away wildly and diving into her music she is doing yoga or working on the land getting her hands dirty.
