Zig Zach has carved out a name for himself as a cornerstone of Southeast Asia's electronic music scene. As the driving force behind Blackout Agency, a creative consultancy and DJ booking powerhouse, he has played a pivotal role in delivering diverse yet thoughtfully curated lineups to Singapore's vibrant cityscape. By bringing in artists like John Talabot, Midland, Paramida, Moxie, Leon Vynehall, Roman Flügel, Gerd Janson, and Prins Thomas, his work has brought world-class electronic music to an ever-growing audience, cementing his reputation as a curator of exceptional sound.

Behind the decks, Zach's journey has taken him across continents with performances in Asia, Europe, and North America. His sound is neither bound by era nor trend, adapting effortlessly to any setting. From intimate clubs to major festivals like Amsterdam Dance Event, Epizode, Wonderfruit, and ZoukOut, he has shared his distinct musical perspective with discerning listeners worldwide. His mixes have found homes on influential airwaves, gracing Red Light Radio (Amsterdam), Rinse FM (UK), and Mixmag Radio Asia.

Beyond the decks, he pushes culture forward through film screenings, art events, and community initiatives via Sunday Social Market. By weaving music, art, and activism together, he has built more than a career. He has fostered a community, solidifying his role as a true cultural tastemaker.

Vandetta is a soul-electronic artist driven by self-actualization and spreading positive vibes through a fusion of beats, loops and lush harmonies. Owing to her unique upbringing Vandetta draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, from Chinese or Indian instrumentation to Motown soul to underground electronic scenes celebrating sound system culture and urban pop.

Vandetta was the first Singapore artist to perform at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in 2014, and has also performed at festivals in Russia (V Rox Festival, Vladivostok), China (Concrete & Grass Festival, Shanghai) and Australia (BIGSOUND, Brisbane). She is also a member of audio-visual collective, Syndicate.

Against a sanitized backdrop of fast food music, Syndicate was conceived over rounds of beers to reduce the growing impact of harmful beats and caveman frequencies in the accelerated world today. Along the way, it transmogrified into a serious idea to create a space for sonic expression and visual experience in post-efficient Singapore. What initially appeared as rounds of accidental & random recruitment exercise soon resulted in the formation of an audio-visual collective with names that are no strangers to the scene and some that are just strange.

Propelled by the inactivity in the electronic margins of the sunny island, Syndicate is here as a super-collective to fill a void. It is now set to tear apart music categorization and regurgitate something to call its own.
