Hallo zusammen, 
eine sehr lange Pause liegt hinter mir und ich freue mich riesig auf diese neue Rotation :)

Nach 70 KVR-OSC Wettbewerbe ein Wiedersehen mit einem alten Bekannten: dem TripleCheese von UHE.
Wer ihn noch nicht kennt sollte ihn mal gehört haben, für mich ein idealer Begleiter in dem Bereich von Ambient und Space-Musik.

Kleine Highlights:
- ein paar Knöpfe zum rumspielen :)
- der CPU-Hunger ist sehr gering,
- Cooler, organischer Klang ... wen man ihn den so haben möchte ;)
- frei erhältlich.

Alle in diesem Stück verwendeten Klänge sind von mir von Grund auf erstellt worden mit dem TrippleCheese und Effekten.

a very long break is behind me and I am pleased to have created a new Rotation.

After 70 KVR-OSC competitions a reunion with an old acquaintance: the TripleCheese of UHE.
Who does not know him yet should have heard him, for me an ideal companion in the field of ambient and space music.

Small highlights:
- a few buttons to play around :)
- CPU hunger is very low,
- cool, organic sound ... if you want him to have like that;)
- freely available.

All the sounds used in this piece have been created by me from the ground up with the TrippleCheese and effects.

Suction Records welcomes Roger Semsroth back to the label - having previously released 2 full-length albums with us under his retired electro-pop alias, Skanfrom. “Grøndal” (suction051) is the debut vinyl release under a new alias, Nordvest. These days, Semsroth is best-known for his stark and minimalist techno project, Sleeparchive. The material on Grøndal - icy, melodic, and mostly beatless - is comprised of tracks that were originally released digitally as Sleeparchive, via Bandcamp. The releases were met with general disinterest from Sleeparchive fans, prompting Semsroth to re-brand them as Nordvest, before removing them from Bandcamp altogether.

We’ve chosen 11 highlights from 3 of those digital albums, “Rooftops & Chaotic Streets”, “Scribbles”, and “Sleepless”, for a cohesive 11-track LP of austere, synthetic ambience. Think Tangerine Dream as reinterpreted by Incunabula-era Autechre, and you might be getting somewhere close. While “Rooftops & Chaotic Streets Seven” recalls Sleeparchive, and “Sleepless Six” could very well be a lost Skanfrom track, the rest of the LP clearly warrants a new alias - Nordvest is a new side of Semsroth that we haven’t heard before.

Kintsugi tiene el honor de presentar a este DJ que desde muy temprana edad ya comenzó a interesarse por la música proveniente del otro lado del charco. En sus inicios a la guitarra siempre tuvo presente a los músicos del Chicago Blues, teniendo como referencia a artistas como Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy o BB King. Años más tarde acabaría teniendo como referencia a artistas de diferente época y género pero de la misma ciudad, Chicago.

Al comienzo de su etapa universitaria comenzó a interesarse por sonidos más electrónicos, a coleccionar discos y a frecuentar los clubes madrileños. Pero no fue hasta el año 2017, cuando se marchó a Chicago a estudiar, donde acabaría entendiendo y enamorándose de lo que significaba realmente la música House. El club "Smartbar Chicago" se convirtió en su segunda casa. Allí fue donde escuchó por primera vez en directo a referentes como Ron Trent, Louie Vega, Danny Krivit o Derrick Carter. Otro de sus lugares favoritos de la ciudad pasó a ser la mítica tienda de discos "Gramaphone Records", lugar donde descubrió nuevos sonidos y donde adquirió el grueso de su colección, que recorre sonidos House, Disco, Funk, Acid... sin perder nunca la mirada de Detroit y Chicago.

Durante los casi dos años viviendo en la Windy City, organizó varias fiestas privadas en las que se inició como DJ e investigó sobre la influencia que tuvieron los clubs nocturnos en el nacimiento de la música House en EEUU. Fue en su vuelta a Madrid cuando cristalizó esta investigación en su Trabajo Final de Grado en la escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, uniendo sus dos pasiones, música y arquitectura.

Actualmente es residente en Radio Relativa, donde realiza un programa mensual en el que recorre musical y espacialmente los clubs que albergaron el nacimiento del House ("The Loft", "Paradise Garage", "The Warehouse" y "The Music Box"). Se le pudo ver por primera vez a los platos en Madrid el pasado Enero, estrenándose en el mítico "Café Berlín" y desde ahora mismo podéis disfrutar de su nuevo podcast grabado exclusivamente para Kintsugi.

METHLAB RECORDINGS continues its INTEGRAL AESTHETICS series with the SEMTINAL CONVEX EP, the debut release of veteran IDM pioneer ROEL FUNCKEN on the label. Championed within are the sonic ideals central to the INTEGRAL AESTHETICS series as the EP unfolds both radiant aural landscapes and complexly spiraling sonic sequences across its 6 tracks.

NEBULA MESSIR's vast pads wash over the looping rhythm created in the synthesis of its pulsating bass and cyclic drums, providing a backing for a variety of glistening motifs which unravel themselves from its center. PYKES KESSLER contrasts its predecessor with a sharp percussive palette which takes precedence over the groaning reverberations of its bassline in an experience of multifaceted turmoil reigned in by the constancy of its distant melody. THORN CACTI thusly represents a synthesis of the EP's opening pair, blending shimmering chords with dense percussive sequences that evolve convergently with its staccato melody for a track that is at once both dense and expansive. BOYTRON KOVAX features a collaboration with RECUE and unifies a disparate grouping of ideals within its span, moving between moments of mania and lucidity inexorably bound by naught but a shared tonality yet concise in their shared existence. Sharing its name with the EP itself, TITULAR CONVEX opens with a yearning arpeggio that floats upwards, effervescent atop a wandering drumbeat that slides effortlessly through a realm of wistful strings, frenetic vocal chops and dusky pads before exiting with phantasmal ease. SAVAREEN brings finality to the EP not with a decisive demonstration but rather with a conceptual remembrance. The track gathers the myriad textures of the EP within the grasp of its gentle atmosphere, releasing them in sparse bursts of reverie that fade into the ether of its pads before closing with a brief drum flourish which rolls into nothingness as though an afterthought.

With the TITULAR CONVEX EP, ROEL FUNCKEN & METHLAB RECORDINGS present a fiercely experimental work born of the joint unity of their philosophies, unfurling the sonic tale of the INTEGRAL AESTHETICS series further with its complex sequences.

Between Apparat and Tocotronic, Funkstörung and postpunk sounds of raindrops leaking through the cracks in the city, looking for the jumps to reality where dark psychedelic replaces the omnipresent pathos.
The result is on the one hand black metal for digital sleep walkers, but on the other hand dream pop for existentialists. [S.A.W.]
