We welcome back Poland-based Skyline Project for the first post-label re-branding release, with a 3-track Lucky Star EP!

It's been over nearly two years since the release of his track Distant Horizon, and during these years he has been developing his own signature style and sounds of Skyline Project, and fully displayed through this wonderful EP. This release starts with the melodic-driven One And Only, follows with the melancholic and guitar-leading Dreams Follower, and rounds up with the title track, filling the dark sky with shining and glittering lights from the stars above.

After releasing over on our NuHouse sub-label, we properly welcome the uprising UK-based Baud Rate to Summer Melody, with the 2-track EP Appalachia!

Baud Rate has been putting his name up on labels such as Sunwaves Digital, Alter Ego Progressive and Soluna Music, as well as on NuHouse. Starting his year of 2024, this 2-track EP provides a mark and dedicates to two different beautiful sceneries: The mountains of Appalachia and the coast of Dubrovnik. Connecting the two different places is his own style of melodic progressive: an atmospheric and spacious touch to the soft drum beat, and melodies flowing through the tracks.

Australian producer South Pole brings us an exceptional body of work here in the form of the Keep Your Heart LP.

Starting off with the epic, soundtrack-inspired title track 'Keep Your Heart' which exudes honest emotion and power with crashing drums and dramatic orchestral strings, things are quickly set in to dance music fashion with the laid back 4x4 beats of 'Beneath Our Starlit Sky' and the chirpy, funky sounds of 'Till The Dawn'. 'Meteora' takes things back down with smooth, airy vocal parts and silky, chorded synths and with extra attention to detail on dynamic percussion, 'Cloudburst' shows Sam's ability to craft constantly-enveloping, soundscapy progressive. Hitting a mid-way point in a sophisticated fashion is 'Holding You' which features cool, twangy picked guitar melodies and warm synth motifs. 'No One But You' is sharp and tightly-produced with echoing vocal cries that provide the outer coating for euphoric guitar lines and tantalising, balearic-style plucked melodies. Raising the tempo once more is 'One Last Glimpse' which plays on melancholic melodic themes and blows them up in to epic proportions with wide, reverberant musical layers and chunky, driving drums. Further utilising acoustic instruments amongst traditionally electronic elements in 'Shine', a blissfully positive atmosphere is created with a great "hands in the air" main section. Rounding off this unique artist's stunning LP is the closing track 'Ascension' which tugs on bittersweet emotions with captivating "wah wah" guitar parts and thick chords along with punchy drums and interesting arpeggios and electro-style wobbly FX.
 
The sunshine-ridden melodies of South Pole's 'Keep Your Heart LP' will no doubt be a winner amongst fans of summer-sounding progressive and colourfully-arranged dance music.

This week we see a string of label favourites taking a well earn spot on our release list as we open up another massive release, this one having our good Los Angeles bound producer John grand back on the label. For those following over the past years nows he is not frequently being a name making music but at times he returns and this week we see him back with another peak time progressive trance track, named as ”Regret”.

This is a full on story teller from start to finish, packed with some truly well selected melodies that we can assure you is to make you fly. That, together with well rounded basslines, throbbing kick drums and everything in between, he surely strikes at 110% again. We are super thrilled to see the alias of John Grand return to us of course.

With an original being a true stomper, it's often follows with a fine selection of artist taking their way through some tasty remixes as well. This time we see a return from Perth, Australia as we have the pleasure to bring on the full artillery of sounds from a rare talent out there, Sam Middleton aka South Pole. Having placed music with us in the past and more to come, he surely is to showcase what an excellent producer he is through his well worked tasty interpretation of ”Regret”. We won't say much more than that as we are to let the music speak to itself, all we can add is that this is a true talent on a mission. We hope you will enjoy it!

We also see another return to the label, almost like a veteran that is back as Canadian Andrew Lang delivers in full flare again on PHW. We have stopped counting all the times that Andrew lang has contributed on the label, but we would without a doubt say that he is one of the most frequent artists having his name on a PHW release. There is always a reason for those things and one would definitely be that we are weak about the sound that Andrew has created over the years. Today he strikes with yet another winner on the label, taking ”Regret” in a different way. With his mastermind at building harmonies and energy at the same time, he surely is to take you places with his wonderful rework. We couldn't be happier than what we are to bring back another fine release on PHW, through these incredibly talented artist, let's go people!
