They immediately found a common flow in performing and sensed a similar approach to sound creation. These aspects became the driving force in creating a quartet in which the important axis is respect for the achievements of Norwegian and Polish culture, and the goal is musical interaction. The interpenetration of influences from the north with the Slavic spirit is a mixture that has been present in European jazz for years, and young artists want to continue to draw from this connection and bring a breath of fresh air to it. All those factors contributed to the idea of creating a Quartet where musical interaction is at the center.

PESH takes original compositions and improvises on them, stretching its structures and borders, altering the form, and bringing to life the final version that is unique and probably - after being played once - will never happen again.

The volatility of the music has its beginning in PESH members' improvisational fluency and rich musical vocabulary that they have expanded over the years by playing in various bands and leading their own projects.
