Few artists can match the passionate ferocity, intense pursuit of innovation, and driving devotion to their craft as Heavenly Father. He is known for his countless and ever evolving original tracks that make up a vast genre-bending sonic extravaganza designed to transport listeners to a new dimension.
Heavenly Father, (aka Ryan Sweeten) journeyed from Utah to pursue a life of art and happiness in Los Angeles twenty years ago. Since his arrival he has been dedicated to a lifestyle of creation and innovation. Beginning as a prolific and now renowned visual artist all the while harboring an obsession for collecting the broadest in groundbreaking musical tastes. Utilizing all that he learned from his previous explorations, he has spent the last eight years applying his boundless focus to being an equally cutting-edge electronic music producer.

Sweeten's journey into composition began as early as 2006 with catalogues of painstakingly collected samples and bizarre soundscapes by creating ethereal and experimental sound experiences.  Since then he has moved on to performing his signature sets all over the West Coast as a Live PA performer, incorporating synthesizers, samplers and effects processors to compose and arrange completely in the moment.

Now with his naturally eclectic sensibilities fused with an in-depth knowledge of sound science and composition craft, Sweeten is applying his mastery to an outpouring of mind-bending sensory pleasing psychedelic sound adventures. They are in the form of an incredible number of original tracks that are garnering him both international attention and ever growing appreciation in his home base music culture.

The Heavenly Father sound is well-defined as a journey through psychedelic breaks all the way to ambient downtempo. All with the constant favored forces of tightly sculpted beats, full-powered bass, symphonic leads, and trippy bubbly noise-scapes that keep the dancefloor in a whirlwind. On top of these signature elements, Heavenly Father then pulls in a range of classical music to unexpected elements such as; Balkan Gypsy tunes, swing, chanting monks and ragga. These add delightful surprises within his ability to transform any wild sonic find into a special new tune.

Sweeten's ever-increasing sonic mastery has been given a new home base in drum and bass, as his face melting side project Demon Cleaner. He has been tearing it up hard, once again applying his psy precision to classic beat formulas in order to break new ground in creating a deeper, cleaner and more journey-based form of drum and bass.

Since 2012, Sweeten has brought forth Thirteen different releases on U.S. and international labels, including "Seeds" on NVibe Records; "Human Mystery" EP, "Silly Pieces" and "The Guides" on Looney Moon Experiment; "Macroprospectus" and "2012" as one half of the breaks duo Period. The End on Looney Moon Experiment; "REHTAFLYLNEVAEH" EP, "Shift" EP, "What? What?" EP, "MANIFEST" EP and "Padded Box" on Substruk Recordings; as well as "Bless You" and "I Rescind My Invitation" as the drum and bass producer Demon Cleaner. In the last few years, Heavenly Father has played all over the world including Portugal's "Boom Festival", Israel, Croatia, Germany and Italy. As well as being an ever-present force at home-based California festivals like "Stilldream", "Five Points" and "Lightning in a Bottle".

Aside from his touring, constant production, and massive creative undertakings in the underground, his company Sweeten Sound has worked with Entertainment Design Corporation to produce soundtracks for interactive art installations at the Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore and The Galaxy Casino in Macau. In addition to soundtrack development, Sweeten provides creative consultation to Entertainment Design for their innovative attractions.



Twisted Productions is a group of artists from Ljubljana, Slovenia that covers audio, visual arts, and theory, started in 2010.
The main idea is to create audio-visual projects; from analogue synthesis of sound into picture and vice versa, aiming for the unique experience that can be made with making the dialog between those two, and connect it in the way of bigger idea. Highly influenced by the harder edge purveyors of electronic music, such as Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Robert Hood and Jeff Mills, Makitan is the fresh blood emerging in the 4/4 scene. His surgically accurate technical skills and a strong sense of how to create a vibe with his sets is a must experience for every clubbing enthusiast. Be it introductory or a peak hour party set, Makitan will create the right atmosphere for the right time, every time! Makitan's musical style reflects his eclectic influences—from high-energy total serialism to a wide range of ethnically diverse music — all distilled down to intense, crystalline techno. He doesn't let himself be limited to only this, instead combining tech house, nu-disco, deep & soulful house, and progressive styles to create a new sound that reaches higher state of musical bliss and provides the feeling of epic proportions.

In 2011 Makitan finished a runner up in Habitat DJ competition which really launched him onto the Perth scene. Regular bookings for some of Perth’s premier underground nights and events include Lucid Dreaming, Habitat, Boomtick, PeopleWhoPlay, Maiko, Limelite, LOKAL, Fore and Club Paradiso only to name a few. Recently, Makitan has also been expanding his horizons to include warm up sets for international acts such as Dave Seaman, SIS, Paul Oakenfold, Ado & Modek, Digitalism, Shapeshifters, Adrian Lux, Wynter Gordon and others.

2011 also saw Makitan team up with his childhood friend Dario Krsic (El Dario) to form a duo known as ShaDDow Brothers which has been energizing Perth’s special events such as boat parties and rooftop parties all over Perth last summer. The close friendship of these two and familiarity with each other’s styles can be clearly felt on the dance floor as they come, play and tear the roof away as ONE.
