I love to share Soul, Funk and Disco and a whole lot more. I have been heavily into rare grooves of the R&B variety since the early 2000's enjoying the club scene in Leeds Northern England where I essentially grew up. I love it all from Northern Soul to rare disco...if its uplifting funky and danceable I'm all over it!
I got my first turntables in 2013 living in Northern BC and have been enjoying playing Serato vinyl whenever I get the chance!
Moved to Rossland in 2016 and have really been enjoying the vibrant dj scene here. In 2020 transitioned to playing boutique events around the kootenays and recorded a monthly radio show Regen Rhythms for https://www.iamsoundacademy.com and Kootenay Coop radio.

If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.

Lover of soulful and funky music (including Jazz Funk, Acid Jazz, Brit Funk, Disco and my current fave Soulful House). Also have to admit to my dirty little secret...late 80's and early 90's techno and piano house.
You can't beat the feeling of nostalgia from hearing classic old tunes...Manchester club life in the early 90's feels like yesterday!!!
