Before you hit play, I want you to be prepared.  This track is loud, and it is meant to be played loud.  It is chaotic, though there are moments of respite before the chaos returns.  

OK.  With that disclaimer out of the way, this track fits into the admittedly vaporous definition of "industrial".  There are overdriven drums, distorted basslines, thunderous orchestral passages, opressive guitars and some abrasive synths.  

On the other hand, there are pretty piano parts, a section featuring house beats, and a few women speaking French, so it's not all nightmarish.  

The word "assemblage" not only gives this song its title but the song embraces "assemblage" as a theme.  "A machine made of pieces fitted together" is one definition I've seen, with an example being "A grand assemblage of gears and cogs."  

This track IS an assemblage. At first, this track might seem shambolic--with very distinct sections with entirely different beats and feels, but, hopefully, in the end, it all comes together.  

I know the time code says this track is 7:30...but the last 30 seconds or so of the track is merely a mostly inaudible unclipped tail of a filter...  Not that a 6:57 length track is a significant difference from a 7:30 one, but I wanted you to know.  

...and fingers crossed that we actually get workable fusion energy sometime in my lifetime!  (Those of you dusting off your high school French, like I was doing, will understand that comment more than others, I'm sure.)
