Let me get this out of the way right at the top.  Despite the title, I am not advocating for war.  At all.  I'm old enough to grow up when the cold war felt like it could turn hot at ANYTIME, and I've been pleasantly surprised that my generation's nightmares have not come true.    

...that said, I can't say that war hasn't been on my mind...what's happening in Ukraine, what's happening in the Middle East...etc.  I guess I shouldn't be surprised that what i've been thinking about has made its way into the music I make.  

Once again, this is less a proper song and more of an exhibition of sound design with song-like elements.  (It isn't a pure "story song" as Interbay has done in the past--it's more about the noise and the energy...and the dread.)  

This started off as a chance to use some little used plugins--both instruments and effects--and when I started, there was nothing dreadful or warlike about it.  When I had to give this a temporary project name, I called it "blipverse"...because it sure seemed like it would be a beepy bloopy chiptune sort of thing.  

...that, as usual, is not where it ended up.  

(I've just realized that this is the 303rd SoundCloud Exclusive Interbay track--what a missed opportunity to not include any 303s/acid loops in today's track.  Well, I'll try to remember that when we get to the 707th or 808th or 909th tracks.)  

This should be a good track for those of you who like your Interbay with a little gritty edge.  (It's not noisecore or anything, it's...listenable, still.)  If you don't know whether or not that description includes you, the best way to find out is to play the track...give it a good listen.  Maybe play it again?
