Six months after their last installment, Shir Khan and Exploited drop another hot to trot collection of disco edits. As usual, there's much to excite, beginning with the familiar guitar solos, Rhodes keys and dub disco pulse of Antilope's "Singing Ghost" rework. Death On The Balcony keep up the reverb and delay-laden dub disco theme on "Addict For Your Love", whose rubbery groove, twinkling pianos and heady vocals have been expertly rearranged to fit house dancefloors. Finally, Matpat go loop crazy on the thumping disco house cut "Only You" which sits somewhere between Rahaan and Soundstream. Excellent stuff all round.

We're back for November with an EP from South Africa's WAPO Jije! If you're unfamiliar with WAPO's work you can find his music released on some of the regions most prominent Deep House labels. We also just had him on remix duties this past July for DJ Christian Bs "Find My Way EP".

His new EP with us features 2 beautifully deep tracks, "How Deep Can You Go" and 'Grand Rising" that both feature lush pads, catchy melodies and those head nodding bass lines. Tim Andresen has his fingers in many musical pies. In this role he
continues to fire on all cylinders. He juggles his busy schedule full
of DJ gigs and music productions and manages to run his own What
Happens label and co-run our Savoir Faire Musique. As if that
wasn't enough, he is also co-owner and head resident DJ at the
legendary Culture Box in Copenhagen which is often described one
of the best small clubs in the world. Tim has previously dropped
tracks on labels including Re:FreshYourMind, Younan Music,
Natural Rhythm and Seamless Recordings to name a few. This is his
new highly anticipated release called Let It Go consisting of crisp
beats and a dreamy soundscape. Ready Mix Records' BiG AL is on
remix duty with a slightly deeper classic deep house gem.

Canadian native Peter Mac is an innovative music producer who is growing in strength and popularity in the music business. His musical background arises from years of experience as an owner-operator of his independently owned music agency as a promoter and booker for house music DJs and events.

Additionally, Peter attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, which served as a foundation for his musical education and training. In 2020 when Covid erupted, his agency came to a sudden halt. This disruption turned out to be a significant turning point for Peter and this is when he found his light to follow his dream and begin making music of his own.

Admiring his new found career (at 55 years of age), Peter invested in the musical software and hardware so he could quickly get his new profession off the ground. With this anticipation, he was eager to start using his musical imagination and could not wait to get his creative juices flowing in order to start flourishing in his new profession. 

In the learning of how to create and advance as a music producer and dj, Peter found it fun to figure out all the buttons and knobs required in order for him  to develop and progress. With his heart finally in the right place, the music just seemed to flow rather effortlessly and suddenly everything finally fell into place to be able to launch into his new found career.

Time travel to 2023, Peter has already launched his own record label that’s quickly gaining high recognition, called Barking Mad Music. He was swiftly sorted by numerous labels and signed in the first few months of making his own productions.
