Five voices from the Washington Music Collective/Arts Centre Rock Night talk about the history and their experiences of a unique music scene.

This initial cut features a long middle passage including a story involving Gary Reed (of Shock Treatment)who passed away recently. This will likely be removed from the final cut - due to the length for a broadcast version - but I'd like people who were part of the scene and those who knew Gary to hear the tale recounted by Doug and Paul.

Featuring the music of Tel Quel, Ellas Dust, Rubins Vase, Shock Treatment, Lipstick Junkies, Paravoid, Mutiny and more.

This is an unedited recording of our live performance at the 6th Next Sound festival in Kyiv, in 2018.

Jed Kurzel - Face Hugger (Harrier Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Jed Kurzel's score for Assassin's Creed wasn't my favourite, I'll be honest. But, the main introductory theme that plays as the film opens is simply brilliant. Today, I decided to delve into the mind of Kurzel and have a crack at recreating 'Young Cal' - the first track on the soundtrack album. It sounds simple, but make no mistake, Kurzel's style is hard to replicate. This took a LOT of time with volume automation and subtle EQ edits to get it sounding *about* right. It won't be perfect, but as always it was a fun learning experience.
