Through the Nebula’s Veil, our vessel soared,
Phantom trails in cosmic chord,
Stars whispered secrets, dark and deep,
In shadows where the ancients sleep.

We crossed the realms where dragons dream,
Through silver mists, an otherworldly gleam,
A forest grew of steel and bone,
With silent songs, a monotone.

Machines of war with eyes of red,
Guarded paths where whispers bled,
A timeless rift where worlds entwined,
In shadowed realms, we crossed the line.

Mountains moved with a thunder’s cry,
Floating islands, myths awry,
An ancient force with gaze afire,
Tested us through realms entire.

Blades of light and shields of glass,
Battles fought as moments passed,
Gravity weaved in dance unseen,
Through quantum storms, a spectral sheen.

A portal glowed with eerie green,
A doorway to the in-between,
We stepped through mists, with hearts concealed,
To a fate obscure, surreal, unsealed.

And there it lay, through time’s decay,
A place where shadows softly sway,
Loxley whispered in the night,
A realm beyond both dark and light.

No maps could chart this final phase,
A world where reality warps and sways,
In Loxley’s midst, the end we spied,
Of endless quests where dreams reside.

Here the air was thick with veils,
Reality spun in cryptic tales,
A final rest in Loxley’s shroud,
Far from echoes harsh and loud.

So ends the tale of space and time,
In verses bent through cryptic rhyme,

The shivers in this song refer to the rush of a feeling you get through your back and body when some idea or someone has inspired you. A flow of nerve energy I suppose. I associate relating these feelings to reading shaman texts in my late teens and early twenties and when I was first going.... What the fuck is that? Those words gave a solid answer back then for me 🌿🌎

When the world wakes up from fear I believe we will revisit all these old cultures ways of life and truly embrace the truths we may have missed. There was possibly a less insular approach to imaging their own existence back then. Found, inside each of us and discovered in maybe a simplicity muted by the noise of the modern world.

The Shaman Shiver

Bio
In 2007 at age 63 Montrealer Peter Wheeler bought his first guitar. He then went to amazon.com and purchased a book called “How To Play The Guitar for Dummies”. Since then he hasn’t looked back. 

Sometimes serious - sometimes humorous Wheeler’s music seeks to re-capture the Classic Vibes  from the 70’s & 80’s. To best describe his music imagine Bob Dylan & The Doors meet The Clash & Leonard Cohen at the Hotel California & share a bottle of wine with Tarantino. Peter Wheeler is a poet - focusing all his energies into creating musical canvases to express his personal vision of the world surrounding him. 

For several years Peter was part of the local bar scene in the Greater Montreal area.  He performed as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for The Rock Roulette Band. His experiences giving live performances and continually improving his guitar playing has truly shown that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

In 2020 Peter teamed up with Johnny Vienneau, a multi- talented musician and Producer from Montreal and recorded his first album of cover songs called "Self Portrait".  https://soundcloud.com/peter-wheeler/sets/self-portrait-1

Today Peter continues to pursue his passion for The Arts by doing portraits of friends, family and people he greatly admires. In 2021 he became a re-born again environmentalist and his songwriting is now focused on increasing awareness of the climatic challenge facing the planet.
