Prayer for War's End

This little piece was inspired by the story of Lorelei, the mysterious rock on the Rhine in Germany. Sitting on the cliff above the Rhine, a beautiful mermaid combs her golden hair and sings a lonely song. 
She distracts shipmen with her beauty and song, causing them to crash on the rocks.
For my composition I used extractions from Hans Zimmer's stems: the percussion, the piano and the vocals.
All single choir voices around Hans Zimmer's vocal stem were performed by Ms. Sibylle Weidemueller who created this special vocal sound for my composition.
