Davide Tidoni is an interdisciplinary artist working from the boundaries of spatial, material, and relational dimensions of sound. His work addresses questions regarding interactions with acoustic space, impermanence, and interdependence. His practice also includes interests in protest songs, social contexts of struggle, and the use of sound in football supporters culture.

burgund t brandt
is a sound thinker, composer and artist living in Berlin (and Leipzig). She creates installations, performances and compositions in the field of tension between visual and auditory perception. In her artistic research, she explores and transforms the relationship of the in-between under aspects of performative listening in theory and practice. In particular, her focus is on phenomena of minimal, microtonal, soft noise and psychoacoustic sounds. 

Her working method can be described as a playful dissection of everyday, in particular the inherent instabilities in the constructions of human(ity) and nature(ality) as well as communication and medium form the underlying concept. The intersection and connectness of ecology and experimental music are explored artistically through the use of field recordings, synthesis methods, and (electro-)acoustic instruments. 

btb is part of the music-performance duo Nadelør , the artist group PARA, the Cologne-based ensemble Elektrische Leiter and is co-director of Seanaps Festival.

KINDLING is an evolving publication series exploring the intersection of digitally shared sound, and printed image and text, each placed together or against the other to see/hear what might happen. Through this process, KINDLING works to open a site of conversation for a community of makers, listeners and readers. While its material form may be less-than-precious, ephemeral and even recyclable, we hope the ideas, feelings or actions it may encourage will remain.
