With a singular production style and a detailed knowledge of analogue synthesis, Shima has crafted his own niche in the scene alongside other great producers such as Steve Rutter and Derek Carr. With a production workrate most others could only dream of, he champions a wonderful sound that stylistically sits perfectly between old Sheffield bleep and emotional Detroit techno. His DJ sets cover everything from acid house, dub techno and electro and are a perfect reflection of what we love at On Ro.

His inaugural EP ‘Serenity In The Woods’ released on Analogue Attic, 2018 captured the labels signature sound of field recordings, organic drum grooves and deep pads with elements of jazz. In this mix that zone is expanded upon. A perfectly executed exploration of ambient spaces and dance music rhythms spread over a two hour session that’s sure to take you somewhere fantastic.
