Mexican duo Sierra Madre is thrilled to unveil their first EP, "Cumbres". The collaboration project of producers @mijomijo and @colossiomx, offers a unique blend of techno and indie dance, influenced by the stories of Monterrey City, Mexico. The release includes a collaboration with @moiseesduro and a remix by Esprit Divers.

Inspired by the tragic events that took place in “Cumbres” neighborhood, the EP opens with the title track, a dark, hypnotic, and evocative cut. It is followed by "Cadereyta," the name of the prison where the perpetrator of the Cumbres murders serves his sentence. A cut featuring distorted synthesizers and a driving drumbeat.

Next is "Diego," the track in collaboration with Moisees, a sinister, powerful, and gummy jam. To close the release, Esprit Divers' “Cumbres” remix provides a powerful and introspective cut, taking listeners on a journey of groovy self-discovery.

Fresh from her previous Pets outing alongside of Balam, Madrid-based DJ, producer, promoter and all round scene shaker, Fernanda Arrau, returns to the label, this time in partnership with Persona RS.  'Match Point' finds the pair taking centre court to pay tribute to Chilean Tennis player, Chino Ríos, with some powerful B-Boy styling. Scything retro-rhythms and classic Chicago vibes are cheekily adorned with cascading synths, vintage piano lines and dominant back hands. Winning our vote and easily taking the win.

When it comes to featuring high-quality South American/Latino underground electronic music, the super cool Montevideo-based U’re Guay Records fails to disappoint. Every single release in their vast catalogue presents a true showcase of the hermanos' talent in combining sharp production skills with a buttload of creativity.

For its forthcoming Volume, the Uruguayan outlet opens its doors to Bernardo Campos, a Rio De Janeiro-based artist highly established in the carioca nightlife scene, who brought to the party two made-for-the-dance-floor cuts and invited Manuel Sahagun and Imanol, the label boss himself, for the remix duties.

The track we chose to premiere is a beautiful tribute to Botafogo, a breathtaking beachfront neighbourhood in Rio. According to Wikipedia, the word Botafogo also refers to a Latin American ballroom dance move, named so because it originated in the area. Manuel Sahagun's RawMix brings the original to a dirtier and more acid realm, filled with synth distortions and stabs topping the bouncing and frolic bassline.
