We’re proud to present the first of our new ambient mixtape series that we’re fondly calling Ultrasoft Notes. Each episode is a blank page for guests to create an auditory record of thoughts, feelings and reflections at a given point in time.

To commemorate the pilot of this series, we have the pleasure of publishing a rare recording from a dear friend and mentor of ours — Jorge (aka obese.dogma777.) Our team couldn’t have picked a better person to kick things off. We hope this mix finds you when you need it. Enjoy! :)

To position music as organized sound or mere noisy wallpaper has always struck me as quite a reductive view towards what was once perceived sacred historically by many ancient civilizations and societies. I mean I've always viewed music as something akin to Magic not only in the LOTR or DND sense of it all but in the way that magic is simply "intentions guided by energy" and still plays an unseen major role in many of our lives for those aware (despite it being underutilized by many). many of my mixes are personal craft spells and at the risk of sounding self-important or mythopoeic, I view my music practice as an extension of my magic and sacred work whether people believe it or not.

“Portent” is a personalized divination spell bringing the energy of a clearer understanding of our past, present and future. it strives to part the veils of space, time and consciousness to impart the gift of clear-pilled vision.  I’ve created this mix to impart a strong sense of discernment, supernatural knowledge in the time of the Lion’s Gate 8.8.8 and foresight to all of my friends, allies and loved ones.

Inti Punku (Single / EP)

First official release since the undercooked melting pot of releases during the lockdown, INTI PUNKU is a 17 minute piece with 4 movements that symbolize the four corners and four directions we honor along the trail on our journey. 


INTI PUNKU
inti punku marks a turning point in my journey as a creator as a gateway into a new season of frequency from OMNEI.FM. Quechua for “Sun Gate”, Inti Punku embodies the adventure and discovery upon reaching a new part of the trail. More than just a stone archway, INTI PUNKU serves as a symbolic entrance into Machu Picchu. 
Specifically, along his excursion in the sacred valley, OM reconnected to the ancestral support to pierce through into a new timeline of love. A thank you to my Incan, Peruvian, Andean brothers in sound and spirit, simultaneously guiding the paths through vibration and beyond.

4000
Second track entitled “4000” is a nod to OMNEI.FM’s former production alias - while also paying homage to the farmers and agriculture of the Andean people. With over four thousand varieties of potatoes, “4000” is a remembrance both to Belen’s past life as a beat maker under his previous moniker, as well as his current life as an adventurer and aspiring growing weaving the spirit of the andes into his dharma farm.

PAKULO
Third Track Pakulo - which means to boil in Tagalog, seamlessly transitions from farm to table - figuratively and sonically, as the song transforms into a tribal rhythm drum jam. Strengthened by the sounds of the village, the strength of community, and the guidance of our ancestors - Pakulo also means to simmer, to build, and even to devise a plan, plot, or scheme. Pakulo fades off, as a wordless message to the listener that a new season of music is in the cooker and underway.

INTI (SOL MEDITATION) Upon arrival at the Sun Gate, one experiences both the triumph of the journey unfolding, and also sees how much more steps lie ahead with sight of Machu Picchu and Huyna Pichchu. This song serves as an official blessing as one continues from the gateway and into the sacred structures that the Andeans used to observe constellations, celestial orbits, and solar patterns. As the Sun continues to illuminate the path and warm our beings, feeding our farms, and coloring the mountain ranges, may we remember to breathe, to smile, and to give thanks with each and every step across the Sacred Valley and beyond. 

This music is for ceremonial purposes. Riding around town, sparking some blessings, embodying movement, and for shedding.

a compilation of diwata's summer/rainy season faves. i wanted this mix to feel like something you’d hear on your car radio while driving to school (except it's not dad rock). last august, i made it a point to take a bit of a break from club music and reignite my love for listening to music in my own time. <3

i dedicate this mix to my loved ones, fellow filipinos back home who are protesting against the long, exhausting reign of corruption in our country. our hearts are heavy but they are beating.
