The EP "The Whole Shebang" by Patrick "Kay Zee" Hollenstein is an analog fest, that combines a playful and sophisticated approach. The Zurich resident’s distinctive sound, composed of drum machines, synthesizers, percussion and tape effects, preserves a live feel that has become rare these days in electronic music. Always marked with a certain wit, an understanding of driving grooves and references to ideas from New York's No Wave era and early hip hop cuts.
