Here is my entry for the #MCDchallenge, hosted by Tateshi Starwalker from Modern Composer Dojo, Bishop and HydraTek.

The challenge was to create a music composition from a picture. After the video announcement by Tateshi I immediately start working with the idea that came into my head. And here you can listen to the result and my entry for this competition.

Love ... Sex 

Written and recorded in Berlin throughout 2024 and 2025, Love ... Sex is a deep dive into the shadowy elegance of the Phong sound. Built on shimmering synth textures, analog pulses, and sensual vocal lines, the album explores intimacy, longing, and the electric tension of urban nights.
Lucy’s haunting voice moves between vulnerability and seduction, threading through layers of warm pads, brooding basslines, and digital detachment. With echoes of New Wave, post-club ambience, and smooth retro-futuristic grooves, Love Sex feels both nostalgic and ahead of its time.
At its core lies a fascination with transhuman desire — the blurring of boundaries between emotion and circuitry, between memory and code. Much of the sonic architecture was sculpted using a rare PPG system, a Moog One, and the elusive Synergy II+, lending the album its distinctive, crystalline depth and synthetic soul.
For listeners of Phong, this is a cinematic experience — moody, immersive, and unmistakably emotional. The sound of city lights on rain-soaked glass. The sound of touch, memory, and machines dreaming.
