Hey friends, our next release is just around the corner, and we’ve decided to premiere this one a bit early. We’ve had a lot of fun playing it live at various festivals and club events, refining it along the way after each test run. Now, we’re excited to see where DJs will take it from here.

Yet within this realization lies a quiet freedom, a radical acceptance in letting go. To embrace decay is to release control, to let sound dissolve into silence, and to find beauty in what fades. 
Decay emerges from the shade, reaching toward the light, only to dissolve once more. A cycle without resistance, a pulse that rises and fades - always shifting, never still.

We welcome the Mexican producer ’ @khiin_musica ’ with his debut single "Tarab".  

"Tarab" – an Arabic term describing the profound emotional experience that music can evoke – arrives aligned with the new moon of May 2025. The track showcases Khiin's interest in rhythm and natural sounds, offering listeners a moment of connection through carefully crafted beats and atmospheres. 

"My inspiration to create downtempo has always been about the rhythm and the feeling of organic sounds," explains Khiin. "It makes me feel a natural and realistic connection with myself – it's a way to connect mind, body, and soul. I believe we exist entirely within frequency physics, and I feel deeply connected with organic and mystical sounds. For me, it's the perfect balance to express feelings that can't be captured with words – it's a pure language for our souls."

A persisting memory is not stable. It shifts shape, anchoring one moment and dissolving the next, never fixed but always present in some form. Memories resurface uninvited, altered by time and emotion, slipping between clarity and distortion. Familiar images become abstract, details fade while feelings intensify. The linear flow of time folds in on itself, looping and fracturing. What remains is not a clear reflection of the past, but a sensation suspended just beyond reach: elusive, haunting, and quietly insistent.

Ich wecke meinen Hund mit einer Kuschel-Attacke und verschwinde dann für eine Stunde im Park.

Man könnte es durchaus erwähnen, dass ich 15 Jahre lang Polka-, Marsch-, und Filmmusik in einem Orchester gespielt habe. Man betone das Wort „habe“!

Kicking off 2021, Nathan Hall’s Sattva EP provides three moody slow techno offerings, with Kusht, Manski and jiony on remix duties.  Nathan Hall focuses on the darker side of music, with texture and atmosphere being the main subject matter of the EP. Born from short bursts of inspiration in the greyed out winters of the Pacific Northwest all original mixes are laced with pensive,  apocalyptic vibes. Expect synth pads kissed by the 80s, melancholic lead parts that break through and underline hypnotic arrangements and subtle organic percussions. Kusht’s remix lifts up these organic parts, supported by additional guitar lines to create his own signature version of These Days while Manski’s energetic version is a gritty banger with a touch of Leftfield House. Contributing a stripped-down remix jiony is rounding out the EP as a whole by adding psychedelic elements to keep up the spirit of Nathan Hall’s Sattva EP for a proper start into 2021.
