This is the first movement (1/3) that you can find on the album "Magic Musical Psalms". The album opens with also an adaptation of Clementi's Op.23 - No.4. 
The whole is produced in the neo classic form, that is to say quasi without traditional instrument but sounds reconstruction by computer and Yamaha Digital Workstation PSR-S550. 
This track required more than 310 hours of work.
The sheet music decoding software is the exclusive property of The Music Bank & Christian Levitan and developed in China - RPC.

The background for the inspiration of course is Homer and the tales on the Trojan war. But Kassandra does not tell a story – it’s a kind of a painting with an ancient scenery or maybe just a sketch: Kassandra in front of the burning city. And it could be a modern painting. We are in a distance of more than 3.000 years to the plot of the ancient tales – and still mankind has Kassandras and tears in front of burning cities.

Working on Kassandra i had in mind from the beginning that Cindy will take the main voc in this song. So i wrote the harmonies and the song structure with that in mind and i love how she sings the song. Kassandra also includes a few notes played with a Greek Baglamas and helps the song to get a special note. This string instrument is the small sister of a Bouzouki.

We have had another magic invite from Mamoru, and Jamie and I have had a lot of fun working with him on this fab classic. It came together quite quickly, as we all felt a lot of empathy with the song and Mamoru's arrangement.
When I finished the vocals, I realised I had sung "take a chance" instead of "shake a hand" on the last line of the second verse..lol.. we left it in!

Like the short lyrics' meaning "love has no hurry", music makes contrasts on rhythms and textures even inside each part: Main theme starts with fast drums on slow melodies & has a DANCEABLE? 2nd part with lead bass guitar; Central theme makes fast tracks become slow to the left channel and vice-versa, progressing to a POST-ROCK? atmosphere. Meanwhile, two lead guitars and echoing voices complete the contrasting piece. I hope to get your feedback !!!

Send In The Suit (Dapper Assasin Number 1)

Pt 1. Spaceman Montesquieu and his men are captured in an isolated region on distant Khazarghonia and forced to march to their place of execution. Awaiting their turn for serial termination, the young cadet Bravo cries out in despair, pleading and weeping. Spaceman Montesquieu admonishes the young man, "Is it not enough for you to die with Montesquieu?" And then volunteers to be the first life taken.
 Pt 2. Cadet Bravo's turn in line has come after every other member of Montesquieu's crew has been eliminated. Just before the Khazarghonians are able to blast young Bravo into oblivion, a deafening explosion throws everything into chaos in a cloud of dust. Bravo then makes his lonesome escape through the red and dusty hills of the war torn renegade planet Khazargonia.

I work in different styles, as the inspiration, dreams or bubonic plagiarism comes! I use Logic Pro X on Mac.
 
I write, produce and play all my own stuff (unless otherwise stated), play vintage Tokai Strats mainly, PRS Torero, Steinberger, Gretsch G2627T, Classical, Fender Dreadnought, Yamaha and Rickenbacker basses, keyboards and sax. I use Native Instrument's Komplete, Omnisphere 2 and my own organic samples.

I mix on Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's and HD 650's (closed and open headphones) when not making a bigger noise through my Yamaha HS8 studio monitors. I use Focusrite Clarett 2Pre ThunderBolt and Apogee audio interfaces, Neumann & iSK condenser & AKG dynamic mics.
