The passing by train was recorded through the metallic construction beside the railroad. The microphone attached through the magnetic contact, which was connected on the metallic construction 5-6m away from the railroad.

Found a butterfly in my kitchen last week. It was freezing so I put it in my workshop in a box of birchbark... today I saw and heard him fanning his wings... Went and got my phone and Røde ixy, and placed in the box really close. Here's about a minute of wings + rain + footsteps....  It's called Aglais io in latin - the Danish name is Dagpåfugleøjne which would translate to Daypeacockeyes?

Last week I held workshops as a part of an art project with kids from two schools in Odense, Denmark (Odense is where HC Andersen was born) 
We took prints from wooded area close to the schools - both visual and audio prints - The prints were used to produce an exhibit with the pictures and the sounds they recorded and later turned into a piece during the workshops.
We found, or rather the kids found it, a wasps nest in the ground, and we recorded the entrance. Amazing sound - very busy. I think this is  a new favourite sound for me.

Dieses empfindliche System symbolisiert ein friedliches und dennoch sensibles Miteinander, das dem Menschen in seinem Zusammenleben durchaus als Blaupause dienen darf. Hier stehen Schönheit und Chaos, Urgewalt und Ruhe eng nebeneinander und so sind die Stücke, die der 2019 mit dem WDR-Jazzpreis ausgezeichnete Komponist dem Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra und der österreichischen Sängerin Veronika Morscher auf den Leib schreibt, nicht nur als vielfältige Würdigung eines einzigartigen Lebensraums und fragilen Öko-Systems zu verstehen, sondern auch als kleines Wunschbüchlein für die Zukunft unseres gesellschaftlichen Miteinanders.
