There is a Japanese term: Mono no aware. It means basically, the sad beauty of seeing time pass - the aching awareness of impermanence. These are the days that we will return to one day in the future only in memories. How do we capture them? How could we possibly be able to fully appreciate them in the present? This project is our attempt to put time under glass.

The Midnight is a marriage between a songwriter from the Deep South and a producer from Denmark who both live in Los Angeles. This is our love song to our city and a testament to the weight these years can hold.

Experienced DJ and producer with over 14 years of experience, Bassner performs in France and on international stages (Mexico, Ibiza, Las Vegas, Marrakech, Miami, Toronto). 
As a real turntable master, his sets have been aired on French national radios and televisions like Fun Radio, NRJ, Radio Fg, Clubbing TV. 
His career leads him to perform with many international artists such as Tchami, Klingande, Ofenbach, Hugel, Andres Campo, Breakbot & Irfane, Chicks Luv Us, Essence of Time, Hugo Cantarra, Flo Dosh, only to name a few. 
As for Festivals, Bassner is a regular at Tomorrowland Winter (Alpes d'Huez, France), EPK (Paris, France), and many events in his region gathering more than 2,500 people at each performance. 
With a discography of more than 15 tracks, Bassner transports you into his universe mixing house, tech house and progressive with some of his productions exceeding 500k plays on streaming platforms.

Just Rob hails out of Pembrokeshire, Wales.

When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his own music… aided by over a decade of piano lessons and an upbringing in a very musically-influenced home.  

Having spent many years playing at all of the major local night clubs, holding multiple residencies, DJ'in at special events.  

With 20+ years of DJ'n experience under his belt, it wasn't till early 2017 he started producing his own music, making bootlegs of popular chart music, and then going on to making original tracks, with "Sky" being his first signed and released on Open House Records, and "I Got You" was his second release with Open House Records, with "I Got You" Spending weeks in the Top 40 Download Charts.

For him, it’s all about feel good melodic vibes… producing and playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it.
