It's a work that combines the warmth of easy listening with a poetry rich in color and hope. In this work, I retain my trademark '70s sound and writing worthy of a song that's elegant and intense in its simplicity. The guitar, as always the protagonist of the musical spaces, perhaps speaks more than the singing and offers the possibility of dreamlike flights to faraway paradises. In conclusion, a ballad that's a pleasure to listen to, especially while traveling.

Math is a dialogue between control and surrender.
Two tracks recorded as mirrors: Natural A, all precision and pulse — a clear signal pushing forward, like thought trying to define itself. Then Inventado B, the reflection after the impact — slower, wider, dissolving rhythm into breath and reverb.
Both are mastered at the same energy, yet live in opposite spaces: one draws lines, the other erases them.
The result feels like walking through the same room twice — once with the lights on, once guided only by memory.

If I'm Dead, You've All Been Dead For Weeks

“Trap Town” opens Dark Music For Dark People with a slow descent into the city’s shadow. A dark piano theme threads through the track, joined by distorted trumpet tones echoing like distant car horns. Wilt Flowers’ bass and Guy Stansfield’s clarinet weave counterpoints beneath Sticks Thompson’s restrained percussion, while Sonny Rhodes’ piano drifts between smoky melancholy and menace.

A haunting mix of dark jazz, doom jazz, and cinematic noir, Trap Town evokes the tension of deserted streets and flickering lights long past midnight.

Floating in Space

I have always loved music. I learnt piano as a child and have dabbled with guitar without ever learning it ... until now! I have been in choirs most of my life but have not really delved into making music until the last few years. After initially playing around with Garage Band, I moved on to Logic Pro and that's how nearly all of my music has been produced.

I use digital software, guitar and keyboards to produce my original music. I compose and edit using Logic Pro. Other people's vocals or collaborative vocals for any track really are very welcome! 

I love the interaction on Soundcloud and the comments from other musicians and composers are so helpful and supportive. Keep making music everyone!
