Turning in a Wheel

There are days when you are overcome by melancholy and need to reflect on what is really important in life. It was the same with Aquamarine. This piece emerged from a small idea on the Rodes piano, followed by drums, guitar and bass. No samples, everything recorded live and always in one piece. 80 bpm is already a challenge and so this piece of music simply gets a somewhat bulky and at the same time flowing mysticism through the playing. The moment was captured perfectly. Not slick and midi-slick, but pure playing. Simply honest music. Katrin, the woman at my side, loved it immediately and found herself in it. I hope this is also the case for you. Enjoy the slowness of being. Take a deep breath

"SurAlicja" is a journey into the world of surrealism, combining elements of "Alice in Wonderland" and the work of René Magritte. The title is a play on words that combines "surrealism" and "Alice." The lyrics evoke the magical, often absurd atmosphere of "Alice in Wonderland," where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur. At the same time, we incorporated a motif from Rene Magritte's painting "The Lovers," where the characters' faces and heads are wrapped in white cloth, symbolizing mystery and the concealment of truth. The combination of these two inspirations creates a dreamlike atmosphere. The piece prompts reflection on the boundaries of imagination and reality.

Malovana is a band in its musical form, inspired by the works of painters, concept artists, and designers.

Imagine approaching the painting "Demon" and hearing the buzz, conversations, and music. Krzysztof Wartak's inspiration for "Malovana" brought selected works of art to life through sound, emotion, and narrative. The songs encompass a wide range of texts, also touching on vivid historical figures and timeless events. The results of this unprecedented project will be experienced during concerts organized by the Malovana band in 2025, where outstanding musicians will perform. Their interpretations will transform many works of art and historical events from now on.

Uranus is said to be a higher octave of Mercury and, in that capacity, he catalyses the process of alchemical rebirth, which I think is best summed up by the expression: “The only way out is through.” 

Uranus arrives unexpectedly, like lightening. Then we are suddenly in labour with birth pains characterised by discord within, self-doubt, fracturing of the personality and an existential crisis as we plunge down into the Dark Night of the Soul. However, the Sun also rises. 

I’ve tried to capture some of that high frequency metamorphosis here.

از اصواتی بهره بردم که شاید هر کدام به صورت مفرد چندان شنیدنی نمی‌باشند اما برخوردشان صدایی تولیده کرده که از شنیده شدن عبور می کند تا به حس کردن برسد.

در ساخت کاور آرت، همان‌گونه که موسیقی، بیانگر تعلیق و بی‌پایانی جنگل است—یک متافور از جایگاه انسان در برابر تاریکی‌های درونی را به تصویر کشیدم.

When the seagulls sing

I have always loved music. I learnt piano as a child and have dabbled with guitar without ever learning it ... until now! I have been in choirs most of my life but have not really delved into making music until the last few years. After initially playing around with Garage Band, I moved on to Logic Pro and that's how nearly all of my music has been produced.

I use digital software, guitar and keyboards to produce my original music. I compose and edit using Logic Pro. Other people's vocals or collaborative vocals for any track really are very welcome! 

I love the interaction on Soundcloud and the comments from other musicians and composers are so helpful and supportive. Keep making music everyone!
