This site is dedicated to SRI RAMAN BIHARI DAS BABAJI - who is a Gaudiya Vaisnava saint from Bengal.  He is a spiritual teacher of Bhakti Yoga. This is the universal path propounded in the Vedas of loving devotion to the Supreme Absolute Personality; amongst whose numerous names  Sri Krishna is prominent.
Sri Raman Bihari Das Babaji's  music is traditional Bengali Vaisnava kirtan, coming from Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu 500 years ago. He follows in an unbroken lineage of pure merciful Gurus from Lord Nityananda (the original Guru).
The most well known scriptures on Bhakti  are the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Chaitanya Charitamrta. They comprehensively describe and give the process to achieve the goal of human life and the intrinsic nature of the soul(the true self) which is pure blissful love of God (prema). By the grace of the great 20th century Vaisnava,  Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami, these scriptures have been translated into English(and subsequently numerous other languages).

Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, a prominent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr. Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967, when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharajji, who gave Ram Dass his name, which means “servant of God.” Everything changed then – his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words “Be Here Now” ever since. Ram Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for three generations, carrying along millions on the journey, helping to free them from their bonds as he works through his own.
