Marco Passarani is one of Rome’s most influential figures in electronic music, celebrated for his innovation, collaborations, and lasting impact on the scene. Beyond his acclaimed work as a DJ, he has distinguished himself as a producer, distributor with Finalfrontier, and mentor at the Red Bull Music Academy. His rich and eclectic discography includes releases on labels such as Running Back and Peacefrog, while his Tiger & Woods project breathed new energy into boogie and italo. His music has even earned remixes from Ricardo Villalobos and Autechre.

Passarani has taken his sound to some of the world’s most iconic venues, including Berghain, Fabric, and Razzmatazz, as well as major festivals like Sonar, Primavera Sound, and Coachella. In recent years, he has released albums on Offen Music and AUS Music, launched the Unrelatable label, and geared up for the February 2025 debut of his latest venture, Studiomaster. His recent work for labels such as Libertine Records and Klakson, along with fresh Tiger & Woods singles, reaffirms his commitment to innovation.

With Studiomaster, Passarani continues to push creative boundaries, delivering forward-thinking sounds for the dancefloor. In essence, he remains a true luminary of electronic music-a dynamic artist whose prolific career and vision continue to inspire new generations.

DJ HISTORY: "Murf’s journey began in 1983, immersed in early Electronic sounds and Electro - Often described by peers as the Yoda of Techno, Murf brings a wise, measured approach to his craft – deeply rooted in the foundations of Electronic music. Murf’s reputation was built through appearances at seminal venues and events including Glastonbury Festival, Kerfuffle, Final Frontier, Club UK, Tresor, Berlin, Global Ark, Japan, Compufunk in Osaka, and standout gigs in Tokyo, as well as Headroom at Alphabet in Brighton - Notably, he delivered a series of legendary 4-hour sets at Subterrain, The End, London".

INSPIRATION: "I tried to include a few trax peeps will know, and several lesser known bits from well known artists….I let some trax play for most of their duration, ‘coz you don’t hear ‘em out (in full) often, and it just felt right during the session..  I just went with the flow innit!"

Carlos Nilmmns proposed a live radio show this saturday 4 october, with his guest Life Recorder, and surprise guest Voltaire ! Over three hours of broadcasting featuring fascinating discussions about Ross and Kriss's careers and inspirations, along with their mixes filled with good vibes, magnificent tracks, and exclusives!

CARLOS NILMMNS 

Ross McMillan, known professionally as Carlos Nilmmns, is a Scottish electronic music producer, DJ, and composer originally from Glasgow. His interest in electronic music began in the early 1990s, influenced by the local scene and early releases from Glasgow’s 23rd Precinct Records. By the late 1990s, he began producing music and studying audio engineering, laying the foundation for his career.

As of 2025 - He is now focusing on various projects for Laurent Garnier's label Cod3 Qr and Ornaments. His collaboration song with Genoveva is featured on the TRAX 40 compilation as reported by DJ Mag has been nominated for 3 Grammys. As a performer, McMillan has played DJ and live sets at clubs and festivals across Europe and internationally under various aliases. He continues to produce, perform, and collaborate on projects across electronic music, film, and the performing arts.

LIFE RECORDER

The Life Recorder identity was born in 2006 with the first steps in production. Over time, Kriss became one of the French representatives of a “Deep” sound influenced by Detroit and a certain musical vision. On the DJing side, we have been able to find him through the years behind the decks showing his ability to mix together Deep house and techno at Globus (Tresor)Berlin, Night Moves (Jane Fitz's party) in London..Paris, Manchester , Belgrade, Tbilisi to name a few...
