Today, nearly 17 years (half his lifetime) later his undoubtable obsession to play music, produce it and help shape the experience around it has only grown stronger.

Smile’s distinctive sound flourishes from the heart of house with his music and DJ performance providing a dynamic ride into a wide & meaningful spectrum of electronica.

Founder of the online Electronic Music magazine 'Beat Vision', Paul Eeles aka B3at Vision is an auditor of electronic music since the early 80's... Produces a weekly radio show which goes out Deep Vibes Radio - with the emphasis on all things deep and obscure - play's Nu Disco/Indie and Cosmic Disco amongst several other genres, including downtempo and ethnic styles...

Nastie & Yamama is the production name of the Funky DJ duo that is one half Nats and one half Yama. They have been beating around the Auckland club scene for many moons now, both as DJs and as loyal punters. They have spun tunes at Ink Bar, Aisha, The Grange Ponsonby, Home Bar, Red Bar, Sponge, Cassette9, Spy Bar, Trench, Loft & Sekure, Coco Club, Forte, Flight Lounge, Ivy, and Ruby. In 2008-09 they had a show on Twisted Radio call the “Beat Berry Jam” which they formed with a few other DJ mates. From this was born the epic “Beat Berry Jam” club nights which rocked Aisha in Auckland and Loft & Sekure in Hamilton. Following this they had a radio show called “Jumble Boogie” which aired every Friday night 7-9pm NZT on website www.onlineclubber.com and 87.7FM in East Auckland. The Jumble Boogie show played the typical dance music that Nats & Yama love: Predominantly House music of the Deep, Funky, or Jackin Variety, but also Funky Brokenbeat, Dirty Breaks, and Drum n Bass, with a sprinkling of Dub & Hip Hop for good measure. Nats has flown the coop to drier pastures in the Middle East. Her day job summoned her to Abu Dhabi which has pulled her away from the Auckland House music scene... for now. Yama holds the fort back home, still jamming beats at www.onlineclubber.com on Friday nights 7-9pm NZT. The show is now called "Yamabeats" and Yama awaits with baited breath for the return of his musical sidekick Nats.
