Präsens Editionen was founded in 2011 to give home to zweikommasieben Magazin. Ever since a bunch of magazines, books, zines, records, tapes and oddities have been published.

zweikommasieben is a Swiss magazine that has been devoted to the documentation of contemporary music and sounds since the summer of 2011. The magazine features artist interviews, essays and columns as well as photography, illustration and graphics. In addition zweikommasieben curates and organizes a variety of events—for example Ebbing Sounds, a symposium that initially was held in the summer of 2018 in San Francisco, or the biennial London-based festival Oto Nove Swiss.

V.R. Alevizos is a pianist and composer that explores different mediums of art, therefore connecting his performance with a reflection on society through the high level of musical activity.
Currently based in London, he distinctively graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, with an MA in Piano Performance and an Artist Diploma in Piano and Composition, and he is currently a scholar at the Royal College of Music studying Composition for Screen. He received scholarships and awards for his exceptional virtuosity and substantial nominations for his music at several International Film Festivals in Milan, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Barcelona, and London, etc. He is a BFI delegate and he recently won the award for ‘Best Composer’ at the Oslo Film Festival. He has further collaborated with BBC3, Channel 4, SHOWstudio and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Amongst other multimedia collaborations, he has worked closely with world-renowned composers such as Philip Glass and John Adams. A native of Athens, he graduated from the Athens Conservatory but also received his Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication and Mass Media. He has been invited to give lectures and seminars on society, communication and philosophy of arts at the University of Athens, the Athens Conservatory and King’s College in London where he is a current piano teacher.

Emily has worked with several ensembles & soloists, including the performer-composer Sam Pugh, Terra Invisus, the Carducci Quartet, Sandbox Percussion, the Riot Ensemble, the Hermes Experiment, Transitions Dance Company, the Manchester Contemporary Youth Opera, the Royal Holloway New Music Collective, and the National Centre for Early Music. She has also been commissioned by several cultural organisations, including Jersey Heritage, ArtHouse Jersey and Art for Guernsey.

Born and raised in Jersey, Channel Islands, traditional Jèrriais culture often influences her compositions, providing a unique amalgamation of French and British sonorities. In recent years, her career has moved towards sonic art and soundscapes, which has led her to collaborate with and compose for cultural heritage and charity organisations - something that she enjoys deeply, and has aimed to bring her prior experiences from working with many professional ensembles back home to Jersey.
