A beautiful musical experience, the introduction with the descending chord phrases then proceeding to a bluesy section that is full of soul.  Lovely work!

This feels like a track that chose itself, like it had a destination all along, just needed the space to reveal it. The opening lures you in gently, but what unfolds after is this kaleidoscope of genre ghosts whispering from behind the curtain. Jazz, cinematic, ambient, none of them fight for dominance, they just flow in and out like thoughts in meditation. It’s not rushed, not forced, just patient enough to trust its own path. And by the time it lands, it feels earned. Like you’ve just followed something beautiful through a storm and arrived somewhere you didn’t expect, but maybe always needed 🎧🌀 The blender spun slowly and said “This one doesn’t stir the mind, it folds it gently inward” 💨 The kettle sighed and added “It knew where it was going long before we did” 💿 The microwave hummed low and whispered “Headphones on, world off, heart open” 🌿 Thank you for letting this one grow in its own time, it found the way.

I revisited an production that I published 4 years ago as a total beginner. So much was changed, I decided to present it as new. The subject matter is even more so an issue

Watching Us

Short stories is my project to play simple, essential short works for piano that can arouse emotions. This is the eight track of the series.

The central part was intended to create an emotional moment in the musical narrative at the height of the eclipse and then resume the theme, I wanted to create something ethereal as in the next story, I hope you enjoy it this and all my little stories.

This song was written for my beautiful wife Anita shortly after we both met. One of many I've written her, she is after all the love of my life. She put an end to that crazy mid-life crisis I was struggling with for 6 years! I really like this ballad and I re-recorded it this year and wanted Charlie to sing it but he cancelled out on several occasions for personal reasons, so I went ahead and sang it myself, I guess I should have waited!  (please forgive my awful vocals and harms!). It's a very basic and raw song and I didn't record a lot of instruments and I didn't do a lot of overdubs, maybe I should have, maybe a piano or some more strings would have helped it a bit. It's one of my favorite love songs that I have written and it's very personal, both lyrics and medley came to me rather easily and quickly, maybe an hour at most! Those are the best, the ones that come to you without you even having to think about it, they come straight from the heart.

The video is brand new and I had a lot of fun putting it together. I worked for several days on it.
