This one is from 1999. Country singer George Jones was in a one-car accident in his Lexus SUV. He claimed he was dialing his cell phone when he hit the bridge. We suspected otherwise and produced this little ditty. Johnny B helped with the lyrics on this one. Nancy Jones, George's wife, called the radio station and raised holy you-know-what. She demanded the song be taken off the air and that we be fired. Of course, a few days later it was revealed that an almost-empty bottle of hooch was found under George's seat. As far as we know, the blood alcohol test taken at the hospital has never been released.
