<p>Alex Rubino makes his phobiq debut with no less than four cuts and the tone is set right from the beginning with the mighty stabs and commanding spoken word vocals of the title track. &#8220;Dacks&#8221; continues in the same stomping vein, adding tasty chords to the low-end rumble that propels the affair. Moving on, the manic hi-hats and percussive lead of &#8220;Disco&#8221; bring us to &#8220;Shocking&#8221;, which closes the EP, and where things deceptively seem to tone down, but in reality are just precursors to the epic synths in the breakdown.</p>
