Bageera returns to phobiq with a full release and the title track opens the door to an eerie soundscape complete with haunting riffs and discordant atmospherics.&nbsp; &#8220;Hands On It&#8221; is a much more stripped-down affair that pauses only for a spoken word passage before returning to its rocksteady path.&nbsp; Closing up is the moody &#8220;Calenteda&#8221; which brings more melodic overtones to the table while keeping things extra classy with epic pads.

We here at Second State are thrilled to bring you our new concept entitled HUB. While most labels these days are doing various artists releases to showcase the overall talent on their label, we thought it would be better suited for both our listeners and ourselves to break the mold and bring you a series of true collaborations. Each HUB release will feature a single artist teaming up with others from the Second State family to create an EP of authentic musical compromises. A place where multiple minds find a harmony somewhere outside their own identity and each collaboration conceives a genuinely unique artifact. With this, there is no one we would rather have kick off the series than the man behind the massive EPs; 'Throwl' and 'Doch', Stephan Hinz with HUB One!

Of course it would only be right to kick off the first track of the first HUB One way. An alliance with, Pan-Pot. "Tension' is a heavy number with just a few key elements, it's a slow lurking journey through a dark forest at night. As each bush and branch is pushed aside and every step inches closer to a destination unknown, the pressure builds. Soon, without knowing, you are in the depths of a jungle with no way back and only one decision. Keep going.

Dutch producer and DJ Reinier Zonneveld is racking up accolades about as fast as new fans are losing their shit to his far reaching beats. Having already released on Richie Hawtin’s Minus label and the ever-influential Traum Schalplatten, Zonneveld’s latest, an EP titled Rushchamber, is out on the increasingly important Stil Vor Talent, an imprint run by tastemaker Oliver Koletzki.

The 3-track EP captures the variation Zonneveld is known for and kicks off with “Sharp Bust,” a careening, pure techno number with detuned horns and whirring rushes. The titular track 2, “Rushchamber,” weaves in groovier house influences in the beat, and “Flatchat” levels off somewhere in the middle. The collection reflects the wide palate that Zonneveld, who was raised on classical music, brings to the studio.

A couple of minutes before I have made this upload I had my dear friend Rodriguez Jr. on the phone. The reason of the call was the matter of fact that I had to let him know how much I love love love this interpretation by him. There are not that many producers around where I say, hey, he or she is able to put all and any emotion into a track but Olivier is one of them for sure. When I played this by beginning of this year for the first time I had tears in my eyes...

Marc Romboy - The overture (Rodriguez Jr. Remix) (SC Edit)

The infamous duo return with four tracks, and "Save Me" sets the mood as soaring synths and pulsating bass fuse together under the rule of mighty percussion from the skies. "Signature" picks up from there and commanding stabs push things forward in a similar vein, leading to a melodic breakdown that provides a breather before all the mayhem resumes. The synth-led "Hate Of Fear" is full of arpeggios and menacing electronics, all balanced out perfectly by the cavernous vibe which takes us to the closing "Blair" and its manic chords on center stage, as it stomps away in the boys' trademarked style.

The title track is first up and delivers a straight-laced techno banger that builds on thick plump bass providing the backdrop for intriguing vocals . &#8220;Daytona&#8221; follows closely with a percussion heavy groove section, while &#8220;No Fear&#8221; brings crafty synthwork to the table. We are happy to have 2pole back on Phobiq with their latest double tracker, titled &#8220;Restart / Wall&#8221;. 
Things get started with &#8220;Wall&#8221; where we are taken right into action with furious streamlined synths followed up by a hypnotical bassline. 
&#8220;Restart&#8221; goes in a different direction with pulsating bass and melodic percussions building up slowly to the chaotic synth breakdown creating a tense atmosphere, before taking us back gently where we started.
