Tomas Otero's 'Can't Stop' EP is the third release from the young but well formed Volta label from Victor Ruiz. It features two originals and two remixes from Drunken Kong and Alex Stein.

The EP opens up with 'Can't Stop' which brings up dark serrated synths looping over the face of the tune as powerful techno beats drive below. Celestial keys bring some eeriness to this tense and tough cut.

Drunken Kong’s Remix of the main track then has a shuffling, all consuming techno groove with vast swathes of bass and pulsing synths. It shows why the Japanese dynamic duo have been on all top Techno DJ’s playlists.

'High Voltage' brings a more serene and spaced out feel thanks to the sustained chords that hang in the air above the rock solid kicks and an LFO led hook that makes this a B-side as solid as the A-track.

Closing the EP with majesty, Alex Stein brings a remix with some techno funk, lush loopy melodic patterns, high end sound design and more rolling drums. It’s peak-time anthem that rocks all dancefloors.

This is top level stylish techno.

The two guys from Melbourne, Australia have emerged through the Australian music scene with their distinctive and refreshing take on all things progressive, electronic, tech house and techno. Being one of Dubfire's favorite producers on his label SCI+TEC, it makes us very happy to welcome AndReew, as the first Remixer of the EP, to the JAW Family.

AndReew is one of the most unique techno producer in Hungary. His signature style are characterized by unique atmosphere, dreamy sequences, and strong kick drums. The second Remixer is the one and only Carbon. His very unique style is a mix of proper techno with almost housy seeming percussion elements and evil synth sounds. The result, a proper dancefloor weapon that shouldn't be missing in any sets this fall.
