Following on from Acid Jump, which was released back on the label in 2014, Russian-born producer Eskuche returns to Hot Creations with a club-ready solo offering titled Activator.

Speaking of the EP Eskuche reveals that the inspiration came after the Paradise closing party last year. Wanting to make something that would fit the vibe of the DC10 terrace, Activator was born. Eskuche’s production style is apparent in his latest output. Title track Activator employs rolling drum pads and a low-slung beat. The bass rumbles on through B-side Pleasure Beat, displaying hints of acid, a prominent percussive section and an eerie, vocal hook.

Since his debut release in 2012, Eskuche has broken through the musical stratosphere. He’s had releases on Nervous Records, Materialism and Mr. Nice Guy and These releases have garnered support from some of the industry’s most prominent names including Marco Carola, Laurent Garnier and Maya Jane Coles. Last year saw his hit track Freaky Stuff played extensively on BBC Radio 1 and hit the top 5 spot in the Traxsource charts. The Ibiza-based DJ and producer looks set to end 2018 on a high with this release and a debut gig with the Paradise crew at The Brooklyn Mirage lined up.

Both artist’s have become familiar in the industry with their work that dates back to the early 2000’s. Sisko has been seen with various notable labels during these years such as: Suara, IAMT, Funk’n Deep Records, Hi-Tek and many more. Fac3off on the other hand has worked closely with labels like: Trapez, Break New Soil and his own imprint Reflekt Records. For this excellent release we also have 2 great Remixes, one by the label owners Julian Ess & Kostha and for the other Remix we are happy to have Alessandro Grops back on Substeal Records, after releasing with us in 2017 with his Remix for Alessandro Spaiani’s Hysterical Drums which received heavy support around the world!

Switching gears, Rob Hes welcomes the talented LAAT to Pursuit. After a slew of releases that the two released together, they are back once again to bring you Creepin. A melodic behemoth that is showcasing what happens when these two forces join in the studio.

Friends of the family Duss bring us another acid infused hypnotizer that is surely delivering the goods, whereas Berlanga also makes his return after his recent Sismo EP, to give us the excellent Tacana. 
And for closing duties we welcome new kids on the block 2088 and Comunica, both bringing us that dark brooding sound that we at Pursuit are all about. Please enjoy this collective of art and dedication.
