Youth and Gaudi return with their long awaited second album, ‘Stratosphere’

The album is a cosmic psychedelic journey through the hyperspace and back by two wall-breaking out there artists/producers coming back together. Grammy Award winning producer Youth: highly respected music writer/producer, sonic pioneer, and founder and bassist of Killing Joke; and Gaudi: international dub master and maverick producer of note. Two bass leviathans duelling their way through sci-fi, psychedelic dub space... and the resulting album is truly a testament to the duo’s synergy.

‘Stratosphere’ is an alchemical showcase of spacious dimensions, a masterclass in weaving it up right and keeping it tight, with signatures and sounds from both pioneering producers, transmuted by each other into something unique and full of absolute joy and grooviness!

Zságer Balázs 'Solar Body' (Free Sequence)

Focusing on atmospheric electronica, the Budapest based label Free Sequence drops the new compilation 'Transcendent Waves', presenting a fine selection of ambient, drone and experimental compositions featuring artists from Budapest, Japan, Italy, Sweden, Belgium and the UK. 'Transcendent Waves' is also the name of the event series that showcases ambient live acts in Budapest for an immersive experience.

The title of Zságer Balázs's track, 'Solar Body' refers the solar consciousness, which means you are completely and absolutely in the present moment. When you die your personality is washed out by a sort of 'cosmic washing machine' and you are left with a kernel of pure energy. If you develop the solar body it doesn't happen, you put your consciousness into the solar body at the moment of death then your consciousness completely unbroken for eternity.

Something I recorded along with my brother (Atomic), a deeply spontaneous and beautiful expression, which happened around 2015-2016. 


The stringy ambience was recorded from an electric Washburn guitar, simply by my brother tapping the headstock, which by itself produced those multi harmonic ambience background elements and then hooked to a reverb.
Then the melody and the accelerating car effect are from a digital synth I played.
Reminds me a little bit of the Fax Records classic ambient tunes
